Bingo. My wife's Wego started giving consistently 48~50 km/l after it crossed the 1000 km mark. Initially we were getting around 45km/l. Have been pretty happy with the scooter so far in the last 8 months. I dont mind driving it to office occasionally.

Wego is perfect for your sister looking at the priorities and going by the experience some of the owners have expressed on the forum. The only area which needs more review is the service part and the spares cost. If it is at par with other scooters, then the Wego is the right choice.

Another option I can suggest and ticks all your reqmts is the Honda Aviator if it suits your budget.

Then I went to the TVS showroom and got the Wego. Its strange that you felt the height of Wego is low, as my wifey complains of its high seating. I am myself 6'3", and I find the height of Wego to be okayish.
Yes bro, it was yash honda, hadapsar.
I think I will not buy a scooter now, will continue searching for pre-owned on tbhp classifieds.

Congrats on the buy. Good scooter and a fair price as well! Wish you many more happy miles!

A find the brakes on my HH Pleasure to be quite inadequate for the speeds it can do. I hit almost 70 (for the first time in its life with us) the other day, and then had to brake for something, which nearly gave me a heart attack. The rear did not step out of line, just the brakes are not confidence inspiring at all.
Overall though, 2.5 years on, I would see we are very satisfied customers of the scooter, which I find to be fuss free, VFM and quite underrated.

How many kms has it done and when was the last time the rear brake pad changed? If the brake pad was recently replaced, then i guess the brakes were not tightened. You can do it yourself by using the screw near the brakes at the back.

EDIT: Just 2000kms!! Well then, it is mainly due to you being used to the Pulsar disc brakes.

Just 2000 kms !
And no, the rear brake pad has never been changed. It has hardly been serviced too, thanks to its super duper low mileage. Serviced just once every year at the A.S.S.
I think the brakes are fine, its just that I am used to the Pulsar and its great brakes for 7 years , and am of the opinion that a lot of improvements can be carried out in this regard.

^@sajo: What is the normal service interval for HH Pleasure? I don't think it would be 12 months for a two wheeler?
For Suzuki Access it is once two months or so.
I believe in one year, Pleasure should be services around 3-4 times at a minimum, right?

I guess he meant to say that since it has run only 2000kms, he has serviced it only once every year. You are right. The scooter has to be serviced once every 2000kms or 3 months, whichever is earlier. But if you notice his Pleasure has done only 2000kms so far!

Correcto!
Its a Team-bhp record.
That is why I am even more endeared by its fuss free ownership. I could hope on it on a weekend, ride for half a kilometer for an errand and come back. And I know that even if the next run is scheduled for the next weekend, it wont complain and will do as told. Our old kiney was much more temperamental than this.
