Sunil, you don't even own Flyte yet - how do you say that? Brand loyalty or brand promotion?

BTW - the 3 year warranty doesn't cover Piston!!!

Its ok you dont have to own an automobile to have an opinion on it.. i have opinions on many cars also that I dont own yet e.g. I think BMW rocks, I wouldn't buy a scorpio .. so on & so forth. Autos are such a thing that they evoke interest & curiosity among people.

By the way, i will soon be buying a flyte. Like i said earlier, i m trying to work out safe parking issues in our society.. bombay is a real pain for parking & societies etc.

I am looking for an ungeared scooter for long time. Kinetic Flyte seems to have rave reviews, but my past experience with Kinetic tells me to stay away from it. It was horrible experience and I do hope that this new breed of scooters (Flye) is more reliable.

Flyte owners, please keep this thread posted with your experiences with your ride.

Yes, even my personal opinion is to stay away from Kinetic, which is on a loosing spree and the company is trying to survive the lacuna, created in the market for ungeared scooters.

Activa is the best pick in the category, and with regard to service it is far better than the kinetic.

Yeah, on that front its no problem.
A couple of months down the line...is what most problems start manifesting, some after the spares are put in.
Can we have some input from Blaze owners?
As in, blaze users who have been using the bike for a year?

hey just got delivery of our flyte today
rode it all the way from chembur to bandra in crazy evening traffic.
it is a GREAT ride absolutely loved it.
highlights are the engine, suspension, brakes and handling.

it may not be one you get for special looks or style but it rides like a dream.

hey all - flyte is a GREAT sym scooter, keep all reservations about past kinetics aside if you will, because the sym flyte is really THE best scooter

gendarmee... well i am riding the flyte since over 3 months now.. no major problems & mileage is also gud
dont compare blaze with flyte.. too totally diff products... flyte is from sym.. blaze is for style and speed but its a bit impractical whereas flyte is totally sensible ..

gendarmee> 'Just cautioning people to stay away from kinetic

I totally agree with you as Kinetic has got lot of problems right from reliability, service , spares, etc and the grape vine in the auto industry is kinetic may wound up there operations if the SYM poducts do not succed, that is the reason they are giving the Flyte three years warranty. But GOD will only know if the company survives till then.

For the members of this forum who wishes to buy an ungeared scooter I would like to introduce the BEST in the class HONDA product AVIATER to be introduced next month and booking starts this month end.

So what is new in it? 12" Alloy wheel, Front Disc brake, International stlyling all these are Industry First and to add Bigger storage and the last but the least the same Activa engine (which is bullet proof) with better torque.

AVIATER is definetly going to lead the market no doubt therefore members forget the Flyte(sitting duck) or Access(running duck) and go for the LEADER

Yeah, Saw it at the Auto Show earlier this year looks fine, the meter console is kinda dry, but the bike looks great.
I thought its supposed to replace Activa but its going to be a more expensive than the activa, its got a the activa's super smooth engine which has been refined even more!!

Yeah the Kine guys give a 3 years warranty and my friend who's using the nova has had to use of it a dozen times till now, problems came after a year of use.

I'd say the best buy right now is suzuki Access>Honda Activa>H. avaiator(last coz its going to be expensive)

But then, it very frustrating to see a 3 month waiting time for any of them.
Kinetic's market lie's there, no waiting time!
