Default Love is blind!!!!!

Hey there!!!! I have a 2005 CT 100 and would like to do a couple of mods to it. I know most of you would advise me to buy a better bike instead of wasting my time and money on this one...but i9 have a senti attachment to this bike. Anyway....apart from a filter and jetting job what else can i do to increase the top end of the bike??? I dont mind the mileage dropping to as low as 40 km pl.......Please help.....

Get a nice exhaust. Or why not a engine swap?

To increase the top end of your bike , drop teeth at the rear sprocket or add a teeth or two in d front . But this would reduce your pickup . I guess a filter and a jetting job would take care of that .

So all these performance mods get you to increase your top end by what, an extra 4 ~ 5% or maybe even 10%.

That still means your bike is going to be slower than 125cc mobike.

Also consider the fact that the bike may not be able to handle the extra stress.

Be happy with what you got, its a nice bike, and its built for milage.
PERIOD.

why?

you have a classic, you love it, maintain it as a classic. if top speed is your concern, buy another bike for that. if you mod CT-100, it may lose your sentimental touch.

Do not do a sprocket job to increase top end, unless the you radically rework the engine.I doubt if the bike will have torque to pull a higher gearing.
