I have yet to see any such shops here but i guess i have never looked around. If you're looking for imported bikes then forget it because people will rip you off.

This thread has been dead for quite some time but I am facing the same situation this year in Mumbai. I've written to the indiabikes people. Are there any other alternatives for royal enfield rentals in Mumbai (preferably for 4 days)?

While there are plenty of car rental outlets, I have never heard of the same for Motorbikes. I assume the public transport system is the reason for such a market not sprouting up. The closest option I can think of is to find a mechanic / garage near you and ask for the possibility of renting a bike, albeit this would be dubious and possibly illegal.

Does anyone have experience of the 1A rental agency mentioned above?

Anybody had any luck? i am planning to come to Mumbai next week for a span of two weeks. Would like to hire a bike for a couple of days to go around the city. Anything half decent with 2 wheels and in running condition. Though I would not mind a Bullet. ![]()

I know this is an old topic, but it doesn't seem to have any solid answers. It was hard, but I managed to find this one place that rents out Royal Enfields Enfield Riders They're pretty expensive, at Rs. 1,200 for a 350cc bike, and Rs. 1,500 for a 500cc, but I've heard they maintain their vehicles well
