Doctroque_Yeah, the bike is good but nothing out of the World,This is going to be my 1st bike so IAm quite ok with this.
LAncer&Showgun- Actually I dont have any solid proof.Expect something around 18-20bhp.

I know the dealer here.So he said he will refund me the booking amount if Iam not satisfied with the bike.

For Puneites, The Yamaha showroom in Wakdewadi is getting a facelift done. I reckon they are turning it into a probiking kind of outlet. I did not check inside with anybody, everyone seemed to be busy. Guess they are getting ready for the R1-5.

Just checked out the bike a few days ago in the nearby Yamaha showroom. The showroom officials did not divulge any details about the bike, however they did allow me to check the bike from all angles. While there I noticed this geared selector with numbered markings on one of the swingarms. What is this ?

I can see they are putting in MRF Zappers from the picture posted by revvedup. Bad choice for stock tires. I think people will switch on to a better set of footwear, maybe Michelins in the same profile.

R15 is out -- it is 17 BHP and on road price in Pune is roughly 105000(one lac, five thousand INR). 17 BHP is a bit let-down for many!

its there on most bikes. It allows you to adjust the the chain play and also keep the tire aligned correctly.

Thats a dampener. 17 BHP is surely a let down as against the much thought about 20-22 BHP. The price is another factor that is worrying. Lets see the no.of takers for this one.
