About time a bike with full fairing hit the Indian roads. Something in the range of 150-200cc..hmm not bad at all!

Sweet! Looks like Yamaha's answer to the kawasaki Ninja 250R.Or atleast on the same lines of getting something with a smaller engine in their stable.

The R125 is already liquid cooled JK. Getting 22 bhp out of it means it has to rev to like 10,000 rpm. I doubt Yamaha will put so much effort to reengineer a bike for the Indian market. The R125 also probably costs around 3000 euros so there is no way its coming under a lakh. Sounds like a jazzed up Gladiator to me.

Its easy to make out whether its a jazzed up gladiator or not. Looking at the bike, even if the R150 with 22bhp is priced for 90k, then its going to sell, the looks of the bike is killer, the digital speedo is like the YZF R1, the bike scores full marks on everything, just Yamaha need to bring it here. Heck it even has 6 gears, a first for a bike in India(dont include the recently launched R1 here)

2008 Yamaha YZF-R125

Here is the link to Yamaha Europe's official page of YZF R125 according to this page it has 15ps @ 9000 RPM

Not sure if India is going to get this version.

The above posted bike looks hot but coming to india and that too at 90k sounds highly unlikely.

If the bike is going to be anywhere near to the one shown above, I think it'll be bye bye Pulsar and Apache. At least for me

The looks are a bit too much on a 125cc bike. Its look good no doubt, but its a case of only thunder and no rain.(underpowered)

A bike such as the 125 with some fine tuning ought to make it a bit faster. May not make it as fast as the bigger bikes, but atleast something to talk about.

Papa says don't speculate. Speculation aint nothing but temptation for sensation that leads to deviation and manipulation.

This looks like another speculative thread like the zillions on xbhp.

By the way. Im Papa.
