yes this was one of the best in the series of ads that YAMAHA came out with the "somedat, youll own a yamaha " tagline - i think in the 1970s

it was used for entire 2 stroke family like 180, 350, 350LC etc..

yep the yamaha ad was posted by me its not from Indian Media so lets leave that one.

All puclsar Ads except for the fear the black have been good. The hamara bajaj ads have been brilliant too, btw just for the info Bajaj's other bikes ads & pulsars ads are handled by different agencies.

Worst ads are by Hero Honda except for the initial original CBZ ones which were amazing.

Even Bullets ad was good, TVS are ok

I still love the Shogun ads, Tvs was very good then, also the no problem bike "samurai" was neat one!

Presently i think pulsar is taking the cake way, most of their ads are good..i love the latest one though..

The pulsar mania ad is really nice. The concept and camera work is really gud. The stunts chosen are something never seen before in indian ads, well executed by the guys especially the ones where two guys do the donuts holding each others arms.

The hunk ad is also nice IMO

I really like that old bajaj ad with the song, "Hamara Bajaj" will all bikes showing up one after the other...more than anything the song was nice.
The current ones go overboard though, but are very good & original never the less.

For me, the best ever Two Wheeler TV Ad was of the Kawasaki Caliber (Classic), 'The Unshakeable'... Awesome background by Shankar Mahadevan!
it is...
(Sorry for the poor Video Clarity, but this was the only one I could find. If someone has a better video please mail it to me or upload it on Youtube).

If you can tag the current Pulsars as 'Definitely male', remember where those DNAs came from..

Hate the Karizma ad, nothing could be more stupid & silly.

I used to like Ravi shastri & ...... Singh (forgot her name, the face is still fresh in memory) in the Yezdi ads way back in the 80s & early 90s.

Ravi Shastri for YEZDI !! its a great bike but sitting position definetly will not suit a ravi shastri !!

lets hear more on these 80s and 90s ads.

This is a well made ad with a good story. Some guys try to mess up with Hrithik and they get it back in style. Its not boring even after repeated watching. Infact I look forward to this ad. This is by far the best ad I have seen. I wonder why you didn't like it. May be you are not Hrithik fan.

Ravi Shastri & Amrita Singh.

@narayan.. these were print media ads, not TV ads. Not many TV ads those days since TV had very little penetration.

For me, PulsarMania ad is the best. RTR ad isnt bad either - what with the lady stopping the bike !!

Karizma ad - I never knew it was Hrithik Roshan in that ad until my wife told me !! IMHO, they wasted a lot of money for nothing. Half the time his face is covered by the cap or the helmet.
