A sad update guyz, well there is some bad news, when i was not present in bangalore my brother in law has screwed my bike's virginity sad but true its no more a virgin. yesterday evening i just went to my in laws house to pick up the bike and saw the odo & there was a differenece of 250kms. i took the bike out and started there was a wierd sound from the engine and hell lot of vibrations. i knew i was taken for a ride, i just parked the bike inside the house. went back today morning and pushed the bike till joe's garage which is 3.5kms away from my inlaws house. i was dead tired by the time i reach the garage. infact i was expecting only the piston rings might have worn out. joe called an hour back and told the scenario just went immediatly to his garage and the worst had happened the seizure. i am very sad and dippressed after seeing my bike in that condition. i am out of words...

P.S sorry mobile cam.

Sad to hear that Prajeep. But don't worry you are in good hands. Joe is an excellent mechanic and your bike will be back in good shape soon.

Regarding the seizure....could be because of lack of 2T oil in the can. If the Oil Pump been disconnected, I think it is because your brother-in-law did not know that he has to mix 2T oil with Petrol.

You have hit the nail, my oil pump is working fine this bugger has dissconnected the oil pump connection and driven it as a four stroke bike. i ask him why you dissconnected ? he says there was more smoke so i disconnected. more over he has ripped the bike like anything.
just see the last pic there is still 500ml of 2t oil left.
could you imagine the height of stupidity...

Straight6: The SMazda units take regular H4 bulb. So you can have both high & low beams in one.

Fourth pic: Who's hand is that? I have that same watch

Prajeep, i would like to see the side shots of the piston so that the location of the seizures can be seen. If the seizure is on the intake side of the piston skirt it's generally due to a lack of lubrication. If the seizure is on the exhaust side then it's due to overheating.

If the con rod doesn't have any axial play leave it as it is. There is nothing to worry about contrary to whatever the mech will say. I have never resetted the crank, like the mechs suggest, after a seizure. I only get it done if there's too much play on the rod. You don't have to worry about lateral (side to side) play if it's not too excessive.

And you total cost would be:

Piston 500 (Escorts) or 1200 (ART-OEM)+
150 rebore+
Around 50 bucks for new gaskets+
Labour

Is he insane or something? How can you be stupid enough to not know that a 2 stroke bike cannot work without a supply of 2T oil? If I was in your place, he would be preparing to leave Bangalore before I got to him.

Just wait for a day will get some good snaps. just couldn't get my hands on my canon.

The con rod had some play yesterday, i visited the garage today morning now its stiff and tight. regarding resetting the crank will speak to joe and let you know. one of the engine bearings has worned out. i have told to replace both of them.

And you total cost would be:

Piston 500 (Escorts) or 1200 (ART-OEM)+

Around 50 bucks for new gaskets+

So according to you 2k is the estimate, just hoping my bill will be the same. (fingers crossed)....
