Wink New Eliminator on the Horizon

Hey guyz,
My first post,
I am seriously dying out without any bike now,This would be my first bike if id buy 1, I am damn serious and have made up my mind on an Eliminator but now ive heard that Bajaj is on the verge of launching a 250 cc new Cruiser soon, so I just cant make up my mind.Hoping u guyZ can clear my mind.
Just by chance how would the Aquila be as a first bike is it good enough and hassle free unlike the Enfields because i dont know **** about technicalities of even a 50 cc bike rofl so please conclude IF I SHUD WAIT FOR SUM TIME OR BUY THE ELIMINATOR or AQUILA NOW

are you sure that the new bajaj 250cc will be a cruiser.i had thought that it will be Karizma like bike.
also the new eliminator could be a pulsar 150 DTSI engined one to reduce costs.
it is rumoured to be around 1 lac rs.
the aquila is a good bike, but what about maintainence and parts availability.
why dont you look at the Thunderbird.or the new bullet 500cc.

The chances of the New Bajaj bike being cruiser are very low.. The New Elim which is supposed to roll out arnd Mar-April will be sporting the 180DTSi engine & will be called Aura.

U may get the Kawasaki engine Elim if sum1 has them in stocks, the current price is sumwhere arnd 65K.

Aquila... ask me, that is a big no..Good bike, but then, servicing and spares will be a problem.
Eliminator with the 180 DTSi engine, you could wait and check out how is it. But, the old Kawasaki engined machines are really good. The fit and finish of the bike is simply awesome. I really doubt if the new 180DTSi engined Elim will have a similar fit and finish.

And yeah, i agree with vinsanity, V12's bike is as good as new... you could take a look at it.

I would suggest a Bullet anyday...
TheDevil isn't too keen on a Bullet, it needs a lot of time and attention. The new Bullets on the otherhand dont have the charm of the old Bulls, they have too much mechanical noise from the engine. Not my type.

My fav bullet is the previous model of the machismo!!
The one with the 2 rubber pads on either side.. Dont see much of them here..
My friend has it.. I learnt to ride a bike on that.. So I just love the machine.. Really powerful.. Used to have lots of races with that.. It used to kickass, big time!!!!!!
Not very keen about the present machismo though..
