The name of the garage is Perfect Motors, Faiz Road, Karol Bagh. If you come from the Hanuman Mandir, from the gol chakkar, enter Faiz road, there will be a Hero Honda showroom on the right, keep going straight and just before you reach the first red light, there will be a police booth on the left, the shop is right next to that on the main road, next to a chemist shop. You'' have to keep your eyes open or you'll miss it, its not like a regular garage with lots of bike for repairs, its like a regular car accessories shop with few bits and pieces, torn seat covers, number plates hanging, I guess they had some trouble due to sealing by MCD. | BHPian | Allright, the bike is finally ready except a few cosmetics changes. Costed me almost 6k, the list is too long to be posted here, must have been almost a hundred parts changed . The ride is very smooth, first kick start, and the sound is very good. He has advised me to go easy on the accelerator for about 500 kms. The verdict, the mechanic has done a very good job, I am very much satisfied. They are not the usual road side mechanics looking to make a fast buck, they are thorough and professional and most importantly they know their job. So anyone looking to get their bike done in Delhi , you can go to them without any doubt. Here is a picture of the bike along with the mechanic, he's the son , the father (not in the picture) is the main ustaad. Last edited by Shakensoul : 16th June 2008 at 00:36. |

| Nice to see Yamaha RX 135 being spruced up.I own Yam RX 100 and would like to mention few of my points about the bike:

| BHPian | Even I felt the need of a 2-wheeler for a long time now inspite of having a car, riding a bike is a totally different experience altogether, plus a bike can go where a car cannot. And it was a long dream to own a Yamaha RX, got inspired by the folks here on TBHP and finally decided to take the plunge and bought the RX135, very happy and satisfied. ![]() Will keep the thread updated with more pics............ |

| Yes there is a white powder which can be used to shine the chrome parts of a vehicle, comes in a small packet for 5/- bucks i think. Have used it, and its good for the results it gives. Its easily available in Karol Bagh and other auto markets in Delhi. BTW where do you stay shakensoul.. Cheers |

He's helped make the engine work/carb (KRP did bodywork) for START BIKING YOUNG! How this young one did it... - xBhp besides doing RE team service backup in last RDH. |

| BHPian | Thanks for the info invincible7. Will look around next time I visit KB. I stay at Lajpat Ngr 4. @phamilyman - Where does he work ? Does he know electrical stuff like getting the lighting coil rewound to support more powerful headlight bulb ? If I want to replace the stock Yamaha RX135 headlamp with a more powerful headlamp, this is what I need to do... 1. Buy a swaraj mazda headlamp doom. 2. Buy P43T H4 bulb assembly. 3. Ceramic/plastic connector. 4. What else ????? |

| shakensoul to get the best of lighting for your bike.. buy a 90/100 lighitining kit. I have it on my bike, makes the best of the lot. I have the CL-II headlight on my bike with the Maruti Omni Round Dome(inside). If you want the lightning coil rewound, there is a man in Karol Bagh market famous for it.. ask your mechanic.. he would know about him.. He is the Sardar Guy, very near to the place where you have got the bike overhauled. |
