I believe last I had some of this stuff changed on my bike (sold long ago) the front fairing was in the region of 850-1000 rupees while the "TPFC" side covers were around 532 rupees each.

well the scene here in Hyderabad is like we get the duplicate one of the same and paint them for the proper finish, at least many of my friends did the same and there is not much difference in quality of these after market manufactured ones,

but the cost difference is huge, its like you get the fairing for around 3-400 bucks and the side covers are around 150 each and the painting charges are like say around 200 depending on the color.

its not only the question of cost these parts are seldom available in the spares and takes a lot, i mean a lot of time that seems forever to get so this is in practice as of now.
