125 cc priced between 47000 - 51000 INR. Read about it here - New Honda 125 cc bike @ Rs 47,070

Here is another "125 cc" to add to the list , 11 bhp of RAW power . lol
Doesnt look too bad, though.
How many light years will they take to atleast double the cc figure for us?

Hmm Another one from Honda

No specs so far but looks like its the same mill from Honda Shine which has following specs:

10.3 BHP @ 7500 rpm (7.68 KW)

1.1 Kg-m @ 5500 rpm (10.9 Nm

I have heard this engine to be quite Torquee

This one looks good from some angles yet no digi speedo or any other fancy stuff.

How wonderful! Another useless bike from honda. I'm praying it becomes a flop!!

For the folks who are fed up with the single digit offerings from the Indian manufacturers. What in the world are we gonna do with double digit power and lower mileage? Bikers are a dangerous breed as is...(Am an ex-member myself). I guess we should thank all the Desi manufacturers for making the world a safer place :thumbs up

Hmm. Exactly my thoughts. Full faring would have done justice to the looks atleast!

Look at the bright side, we have the most powerful modeds in the world, right from 100cc-220cc :)

India is a moped market ever since they brought those 100CC bikes in early 80s. We downgraded ourselves from 350/250/175 cc to 98.3 cc etc.

I think you guys couldn't figure out - its for the low end bike market, to take on Bajaj XCD, TVS Flame & Hero Honda Glamour.

Why double the CC? To burn more fuel while going to office?

Will you gain any monetary if this fails?

They're just sticking to "Flog the donkey till it dies" principle.
I'm quite interested to know which @#$@$#@ names their bikes! After Ambition, Ignition, Karizma, Kareena.....now we have a Stunner.

I have some names for their future bikes. Agony, Ecstasy.

:(

I am assuming a 250 would give me an average atleast equal to my Ikon and I can only drive/ride only one thing at a time so it does not mean spending more.Even if it does slightly, I dont mind spending on something I absolutely love :)

Guys- there is a market for a 'All show and no go' bike, specially among the teenagers who would love to buy a Honda. The price also seems reasonable enough!

Take it this way- its got the mileage of a 125cc, looks to match (Without stickers), price of a 150 cc, and Honda name still can evoke fanboyism! What more for a college guy trying to show off without burning his pocket money?

Anyways- after some stupid launches by Honda (trying to match HH?), this seems like a welcome change, IMHO.

Stunner ? in what way ?

The only thing that is stunningly stupid is Honda's perspective of the market ..

Look wise it's not a bad looking bike at all, from the photo's posted here, engine being only 125 cc is a different story altogether.
