Default Rubber for splendour..

Ok, so I've worn out my current rubber and I'm not sure what to buy..
I was more than happy on stock rubber, and yes since it is an Econo-miser I do not plan to spoil the average I'm getting from it (65+ on hard riding too!). Please dont tell me the best tyres on the market or the grippiest rubber as I have no intentions of sacrificing the mileage. I just wanna know the best deal. I enquired and a dealer told me dunlops would cost me 600 bucks.

Also could you tell me whether a pirelli or michelin is available for the Splendour? If so, is it heavier than the stock? I thinkyou get em for 1300 bucks.. but are they worth sacrificing the performance and mileage? (Splendour + Performance = Oxymoron)

In short, I want something that is not heavier than the stock and offers better grip than the stock.

Suggestions please...
Thank You.

Was kidding bout the sunny thing!!! chill!!
The Pirelli and Michelin are amazing....i've checked them out....for my CBZ....although the grip that they provide will definately cut the FE.....go for the stock 2.75/18 by Dunlop for the FE that you expect.
and me thinks that the italian and french tires start from the 100/90 size......
tell me what you finally put on!!!

Hey man I finally put 3*18 Dunlops Challenger. Good grip in wet and dry. I was thinking of putting on the pulsar's (old thinner one). It looked awesome and i could see awesome grip, but wet grip put me off. So I put on the dunlop, and I'm happy! Haven't checked the FE though. Will soon.
