Will try and click some better pictures and post again. They were for Rs. 850 in a shop in Mumbai (Bandra) called "Funky". It's actually a fashion and lifestyle store with a decent collection of imported/grey market Helmets , gloves , padding (no jackets). But since its grey market, not sure if it passes even any minimum quality certification. Based on a friends advice, I might upgrade later to Alpinesters !

Hey Salunkhe.vizz,

Thank you for the pics and details on the store you have picked them from.

I have two questions for you :-

1. How much did you pay for the Vega Motocross?

2. How well does the helmet go with the CBR and what about its weight? I mean is it too heavy or okay.

I was a a little skeptical about this lid, mainly because the beak might be easily prone to breaking but if handled carefully that might be of least concern. And secondly, I was not sure how it will look on a CBR 250R. So wanted to get this answered before I also consider the one in Black.

Look forward to your feedback.

1. Prices of all CBR accessories on my Bike Thread: http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/motorb...r-std-red.html (Dream comes home: Honda CBR 250R Std (Red))

2. You will see a pic with me on the bike on the link above, you can make it out for yourself .
Weight is definately less then the round / oval lids - which are more equipped in protecting your grey matter in case of an accident.
Still, I am in love with the finish overall - it matches quite well with the bike shade. Only problem is in high speed windy conditions, the helmet might sway up, as well as left-right - causing strain on your neck. It is a more feasible City riding lid then on the highway.

Folks,

Have a unique situation and hope you guys can help me out. My Dainese riding pants are towards the loser side on the thighs but make for a perfect fit on the waist. I need to alter the thigh portion. Anybody you recommend in Bangalore who has the necessary experience?

FYI, they are cowhide leathers.

Thanks!

Guys, I am looking for a backpack which can hold a L size helmet. I saw the 'Laplace 4.0' on Cramster's website but have heard of quality problems regarding Cramster products, so what other option do I have? I'm tight on budget, so 2k would be the max I could spend at the moment.

I got my Alpinestars GP PRO red gloves today, my most expensive piece of riding gear till now , invested so much in good gloves because i have a history of fractured wrist and now i dont want to take any chances, my profession doesnt allow even a visible bruise so being sensible and making this one time investment in riding gear.

Got a M size and they are perfect fit, despite being full gauntlet they are very very comfortable, would take time to test other things because am yet to buy a bike for myself, would get one on my 20th bday.

Next in line are A stars SMX 5 boots. Here is a pic

How good is the ventilation? Will it be suited to Chennai's hot climate, as compared to the Octane? I saw RJays products stocked with a dealer here.

I havent used an Octane so cannot compare. But Mumbai and Chennai are almost similar in terms of humudity (having stayed in both places), so there wont be much difference.

I find it extremely suffocating with the 'Rain Covering' inside , it is not so bad whilst on the move though. Once you remove the waterproof cover (post rainy season), it is indeed airy !

Arent these like a single piece? Re-stitching them will probably have their ability to hold together during impact wear off.

We get them as 2 piece suits too and mine is a 2 piece. The jacket and the pants can be zipped forming a one piece. So, just looking to alter the thigh portion. Checked out all the local neighbourhood tailor shops...No luck so far :-(
