Holy Cow!! Thats very bad Techno!! Sorry to hear about it. Seat is something which can be fixed in a few hundred rupees.
Hope that the scratches are not deep and can be removed easily.

Yeah I know it can be easily fixed, its just that it hurts to see something like this happen.

The scratch is on rear cowl behind the seat & is not easily noticeable.

Feel bad man:[

On another note, please go for riding pants(touring) and knee guards(commuting)

^won't knee guards scratch the tank in someway?

That's outright pathetic. What kind of a retard he/she would be. Why are such mentally sick people allowed to roam free?
So far, I'm lucky that people just sit on my bike, write all kind of weird things on the dusty body and play with different switches and gears. The cost one has to pay for living in a society with uneducated people.

Actually Last night I came to know the real reason, apparently the car which gets parked perpendicular to my bike had hit my bike causing my bike & 3 scooters to fall & this is how the damage happened

Sigh, I have changed my parking location now.

And the car owner hasn't apologized to you? I think he/she should pay for the damages, after all if something like this happens to their car, it will be much more expensive to fix.
On that note, couple of years back some drunkards came to our society to meet someone (couldn't find out who) and while reversing their car, banged my bike which resulted in a big dent on the fuel tank. So, you are not alone.

That explains the out of place RVM. But what about the torn seat ?
Anyways, such things happening to our beloveds is always a pain.
I empathize with you @Techno. Chill! Hota re!

@nav - I came to know this from the night watchman, I know who the guy is but to be fair to him the parking space is rather tight.

@Pervez- The seat got torn probably when the bike fell on the scooter or while it was picked up. Yes I know, I am fine now, it hurts when you see it first time.

I will try to get it fixed over the weekend.

your front is a 17" and rear an 18"
why not get a 17" for rear too?
it will make you feel more 'in' the bike than 'on' it

Got the seat fixed to my satisfaction on Saturday

@Sheel - Whats the benefit? I mean this involves lot of spending (Tyre Plus Alloy). I am quite fine by this setup.

i am riding a friend's RTR 180 nowadays and feel the seat is lower aiding in handling and think it has more to do with 17"
the cost part is:( (may be once you decide to get a stickier rubber than add on the rim cost too) :>
^^you can't ride sanely on a RTR 180 and i had my first intentionally slide moment in 2nd gear in a corner aided by sand yipee!!:]

If you think yout 18" rim will go waste, someone who is willing to take your 18" alloy stays just few seconds away from your house.
