That speedo is good. It doesnt obstruct the Odometer while riding.

In machismo RE is still giving the ordinary headlight whereas there is (was) multi focal reflector in Std. 350 since many years.

Default My new ELECTRA TWINSPARK

Got my 'Red Bull' on Monday night i.e. 22/03/10. Still run-in period going on. Done 485 kms till today. Will take it for first service tomorrow or day after that when it touches the 500 kms mark.

P.S.: Did 460kms when the pic was clicked (from the mobile phone).

Big Saran: beautiful bike! So I guess it doesn't have the long waiting period for delivery like the CL350/500?

Thanks bro. Well to be honest i was going for the CL350 but the waiting period of 5 to 6 months was too long as i needed a bull RIGHT NOW. I went and got the bull right away from showroom. Here in Ghaziabad, Noida the waiting period is about a week to 10 days. People are still not aware of the UCE Electra so i'd advise to book it right now and if you are lucky enough like me you may get it immediately. Plus a CLASSIC is a CLASSIC, no arguments there.

I was going for the CL350 but the waiting period was 5 to 6 months(in Delhi,Gurgaon,Ghaziabad,Meerut and even Muzaffarnagar ) and i needed a bike asap.I've to commute daily and have a Splendor plus and i'm a li'l too big for it now The ZMA is ridden by my elder bro. Actually after getting frustrated with the CL's waiting period i had made up my mind for CI Electra but then i read RANDHAWA's (fellow BHPian) post that deliveries for UCE Electra have started so i immediately contacted the dealer and the next day paid the dealer and bought the RIDE home.

Thanks for the info! Will check out the Goa showroom. I like the Electra Twin Spark, plus if the waiting period is normal, that's great!

Hey all you Guys with those fantastic machines!! I dont know if this is the right thread to ask this question. I would like to know if the handle bar on the stock Machismo 500 can be changed to the straight/ short handle of the standard? Any problems? Also Can we change the wheels to 18"? Does it affect riding/ braking/ handling in high speeds? Please help.
