Nice pics Swamy esp the first and the second one, I have been in chennai till day before yesterday for a month and I have noticed much of the RE lovers prefer Thunderbird (TB) and they have these bags or the boxes to carry things. I have also seen few bikes with smaller size but wider tyres modified and one things I specially liked in older bikes is the rear mudgaurd stay is modified wherein there is no support rod going near the foot rest, only the semi circled rod is welded to a semi circled thick plate and bolted to the mudgaurd which is quite awesome, another mod which attracted me is the Thunderbird mudgaurd fixed to Standard type forks i.e., the forks which doesnt have the bolting facility unlike the Thunderbird the mudgaurd is fixed to a U shaped clamp which is bolted against the fork from outside. I am sorry I couldnt narrate it with a pictures and I regret that I couldnt get one of those for my RE but next time I visit Chennai I will get my bike also and get that done up out there, you guys are very innovative.

Go for the fluid ones.gas shocks are very hard.

@Sans - Yes it is from Sans Inc, New Delhi.

@grayberry - thanks for the photo compliement. The lens used was a Tamron 90mm prime on a Nikon D80. An excellent lens for this type of photos. Very smooth and excellent bokeh.

Sorry for the delayed reply freinds.

Hi Chanu
This project is still very close to my heart .
I completed all the mods in just 1 mnths time and did almost all the work with my hands.
Straight from chopping up of the tank to embossing the SANS logo on the sides.
We also sell these Bolt on kits in raw finish to interested clients.
i am more into touring than into dirt biking.
The look however is more towards the latter.
I am in love with this orange -white color but will be giving it a complete make over this summer.
The theme for 2011 will be Air force.
Watch out this space for more pics in the coming months.

Thanks Sans for the info. You work is much appreciated and I am sure people would be intrested to turn their machines like yours. I also love the orange and white theme it makes me think of 60-70's Hot rods and if your bike had white walls then voila. How much would the bolt on kit cost, just incase someone is intrested.

When you say you are into touring then how is the seat in regards to comfort rest of the bike is pretty fine with those short fenders and easy handle bar. Even I am planning to give a new look to my Bullet STD and am hoping to start soon.
