I've always been curious to know how one would reset the trip meter, when the speedo is inside the bullet nacelle. Do you happen to know how's it done?

my 11 year old AVL machismo was lying idle for a long time, so I gave it a new lease of life. trying the Woodsman look, but am gonna stick to a normal silencer.

The paint job is a couple of years old, so the only mods this time round were the
  • bigger handlebar,
  • shorter rear mudguard,
  • seat housing (thunderbird frame),
  • rear rack,
  • free-flow exhaust,
    BS 29 carb
  • rubbers on the front forks

Am yet to do the following:
  • disc brake
  • shorter front mudguard
  • change the seat cushion (too soft right now)

Been riding since I got it. Riding at every available excuse. Will take it out on a 100 km warm up ride on Sunday.

Dear Hemicuda and Tharian,

Really loved the colours you've done your bikes up with.

I have a 2002 Thunderbird ( the earliest ones ) and since it's been 10 years of the bike, am getting it repainted and the colour combinations that i loved were your bikes.

If it's not too much of a bother, can you pls share few more pics of your bikes so that I can have a proper paint shade to finalise

Thanks in advance!!
