Browsed through old cam pics and came up with this pics of a Honda Stunner which has been made to look like a Busa by adding those heavy desi Busa fairing to a 'bechara' 125cc bike.

My god!! How could one do such mods to a pulsar. By default, pulsar looks good. Why would one want to mod it to an ugly looking duke?

I see multiple problems with this mod.
- Rear Shock is almost perpendicular. I think it should be angular @ 45-55degrees.
- Uneven height of the vehicle.
- Why trellis frame? Chasis rigidity is compromised.
- Last but not the least. That paint job + Stickering is UGLY

May god save him !!

Thanks for pointing out the safety issues, gemi_kk. You are absolutely right about the suspension issue, I am no expert in suspensions but a straight suspension is essentially a hazard because when the rider rides over bad sectors, the suspension backlash will translate into quite some major spine-bangers leading to complications like lumbargo!! This will both prove to be an uncomfortable as well as unstable ride.

All the modder wanted to achieve I think was bringing the Pulsar as close to resemble a Duke, and hence the Trellis frame. However, the roto-petal discs looks good and has been fitted skilfully.

Definitely I agree with your statement. He must be trying to prove that a pulsar can be a DUKE. Or could it be a mechanical grad's project?

Thanks for sharing this. I think, this image is eligible for "the Official Joke thread". Would love to see it in person

But what bothered me was, With the amount of money spent, he could have got a used Duke. Why mod it and spoil + Why risking one's life.

I would have posted it in the official joke thread too except that repeat postings of same content isn't allowed in the forum

Btw, I have quite a few old pics of weird modified bikes stored away somewhere, I just need to find them.

This Yamaha Ray owner seems to be an ardent fan of the Iron Man

This Ray looks good to me. This guy ensured that the body is intact. He just changed the front lights with LED's or other stuff and placed the Iron Man's Mask. Based on what i see in image, its a good mod.

Thanks for sharing

Yes, it looks good but I honestly, I think that is not a mask but the helmet. When he can alter his Ray into an Iron man theme, than why not the helmet?

Suraj, you should go back one page and take a look at this post of mine:

As far Iron man mods go, this was amazing

Haha, yes I saw that and that was why I uploaded the Iron Lady . By all means, the theme is skilfully executed in both the units but this unseen design makes them eligible for this weird and wacky thread. Do post more pics if you spot or come across them.

It took me a good 45 minutes to go through this, but I think mod done properly with due respect and the right modders, especially the Indonesians and South Americans with those crazy mods to their Pulsars, I mean, even the Ducati Hypermotard would fail when it comes to attention to detail, so bloody mean and really beautiful. That's one end of the spectrum.

And at the other end of the spectrum, here in India, with crazy CBR1000, Busa, R1 etc etc mods as much as hilarious it is see them I wonder if only they spent that money on buying some decent riding gear instead that would make them a real biker as opposed to a wannabe.

Cheers!

Came across these two green ladies while browsing through another auto forum. The second one is truly and eyesore and is potentially dangerous.

I find it neither. Its a stunter's scooter and he's carefully carried out the basic required modifications to suit his usage. Also, I like that paint scheme. Yes, those tints would hamper his visibility at night though.

If it belongs to a mature stunter, he won't perform stunts in traffic.

Well, beauty is a matter of perspective as they say, and you may not agree with me there. Btw, I didn't know that people had taken to stunting on scooters too and hence I didn't perceive the stunting modification and termed it dangerous. Pardon my ignorance!

Well, if you see the rear end, you'd see the iron handles/rods/angles for putting the legs for locking into.

Finally no offence. None given, none taken!
