Post Cons & Pros of putting 17" front and 18" rear Wheel in Honda Unicorn

Hi i am having unicorn. What will be the advantages &

disadvantages of putting 17" front rim instead of 18" stock one with

18" rear? & how will be the bike if i change both wheels to 17" rim in

case of handling,performance,low end torque etc Just wanted to know

First of all why are you changing to 17" are you too short in height !

ya planning to put r15 tires. Want to know from experts how the bike will behave using 17" front & 18" rear wheel in mu uni.

Your bike may be slightly lower in front , a little more weight bias in front and the speedometer read more optimistic , but the R-15 tyre being an 80/100 , the difference may not be signifcant vs the thinner 2.75 . Try get a measurement of the 2.75 circumference and the R-15's tyre circumference.

R15 tires fit only in 17" rim & they offer excellent dry & wet grip like Michelin. Michelin too have those kind of tires but those are big not suitable for indian bikes.
MRF imported special compound to make this r15 tires for offering excellent wet & dry grip with thin tires.

I am not sure how the front suspension will behave after this change.

no it isnt. R15 has a 1.6x17 rim while a unicorn has a 1.6x18 rim

Any change in rim will bring down mileage.
Only thing that the handling might improve..

i think apache rtr has 17" front & 18" rear how does it handle?

It handles brilliantly but the arrangement is not after market & isa well designed one.
