| My first bike was Suzuki Shogun. I fell in love with it for its look and the exhaust note. It served me for 7 years. I thoroughly enjoyed the bike & the rush of power. Changed to a Pulsar 150. Saw so many of them on the road, thought it had to be good and bought it. It was too slow and my driving style did not go well with it. Sold it within a year (11 months) & bought the 180 DTSI. But now I drive most of the time, so my ride is hardly used. Just yesterday I took the 180 out of deep slumber and took it for a spin. The air pressure at the rear was down to 12 (almost 4 months later). Have promised myself to drive the bike atleast once a month. Let us see. |

| The first bike I ever rode on a regular basis was a BSA Goldstar in Darjeeling. It was of unknown ownership and lying with the hostel gardener there. I learnt riding on that and rode that for about a year. Yet to find a better feeling vehicle. After moving base to Kolkata, I rode my dad's bikes. 1985 RE Standard 350 and 1987 RD350. In fact I have fond memories of father and son rides (after all T-BHPians never race on the streets, right?). After I moved to Bangalore, I used a Pulsar C150 for 3 years (2003-2006). Despite doing all sorts of stuff to it, failed to ever get out of it what I wanted. After I landed a job and myself in Andhra Pradesh bought myself a RE Electra 5S (KS) in 2007. Still married to her ![]() |

| BHPian | Learned to drive on my father's Yezdi CLII. Had the Bullet parked in the head since childhood. Landed up in the first job; used to be paid peanuts: skipped meals and did things likewise to cough up enough to own my 1990 Standard 350, I fondly call "Kurumbi" (naughty girl in malayalam )Since then life moved on for good. Cars and Bikes came in and out, but she grew so close to my heart, that I will never part ways with her. God willing. Last edited by jeeva : 25th May 2010 at 19:22. |

| My first bike is bajaj CT100 2004 model. I was the one who bought this mileage machine at the time of launch in chennai. I still remember that ppl asked me about it's mileage (typical indian question) ,suspension etc on almost everyday when I go to office. It gives around 70+ till i sold it. The only reason i sold this to get my dream machine Pulsar 180 DTS-i. |
