Love the RD and i have been blessed only a few times to ride the bike.

Can someone tell me what the top whack of an RD is under stock settings?

Shibu, I somehow don't like it. I like the stock look of the RD. The paint job is good.

Shibu, same here I Like the quality of work on this but the headlight somehow doesn't excite me. Can I suggest you to look at the round headlights please?

Loved it except for the FZ headlamps :(

It looks leaner, meaner & fitter

I don't normally comment within the motorcycle forum, but couldn't resist. That's a STUNNING looking RD . Gotta love the classic red + white paint job, the shiny chrome and black wheels + red lip look. Congratulations on owning what is so obviously a well-maintained RD350.

Albeit, I have to add, a round headlamp would suit her real swell. This modern light design looks a bit out of place.

FZ's suspensions are a good fit on RD350 & hope you've changed the fork oil from FZ to little more viscous. Me to love the stock headlamps & stock handle bars than the FZ's handle bar. Sorry if I've offended your hard work, but that's what I feel. Great job though.

The top whack of a stock RD (HeT stock, 30.5bhp) as per the owner's manual is 150 kmph.

Grafin,

You know they say "beauty is in the eye of the beholder"

Same is true in way about the top speed of the RD 350 - I would say it is in the right hand of the rider, ability of the rider and the condition of the engine.

I am not a top rider by any means, but when my RD 350 was new and on stock set up I could cruise at 100 and touch up to 130 without any sweat.

I have know guys doing +/- the hand book speed with stock set up.

That is why I say "it is rathere relative"

Best Regards & Drive/Ride Safe

Ram

After the last post, i did ride an RD and i did a 134KMPH sprint, and it was still willing to do more but the traffic and the jelly bean in the head as rather preferred me i dint do more.

This thread makes me feel sad.

Have been looking around for a good RD. But surprisingly none available for sale. :(

Anyone could lead me to one good HT RD 350 for sale in Bangalore.
