Spoke to one mechanic who owns a RE A.S.S. He told me that the spares would be available for a very long time to come. Minimum 20 is what he said. This chap can be trusted too.

I heard they are going to make new UCE (Unit Constructed Engines) engines with fuel injection with integrated gear box! But its for the 500 cc! And I don't think it will do any justice to hardcore bullet fans who like their machines as it is! And I suppose they won't take out the 350 classic from the line as it would cost them a lot to replace the market! 350 is more than a commuter bike, its a passion! As far as I am concerned my bull is without comparison!

RE has done it as classic 500.

They have to do it because of pollution norms. Please checkout Page No. 3 of this topic. RE has showcased Std350 UCE with left shift gear box in auto expo.

I called up two dealers in mumbai , one dealer in gujrat & one in kerala & all of them said NO. I too am looking to get.

What was more odd is one dealer named soniya royal enfield in bhandup told me the current 350cc uce standard will take 3 months delivery & the classic 500cc six months delivery !!

Located an ad in sulekha of a RE Std 350CI registered in haryana (180kms done ,likenew condition) , , asking price is 1.20L. Search around if anyone is interested. It is beyond my price range as will effectively cost me around 1.40L odd including transport , tax & greasing rto palms for a quick transfer.

In States of Haryana, Punjab, people who have a CI 350 std. are asking whatever comes to their mouth. I've heard owners demanding 1.35L for an almost new bike.
Dealers are saying that such is the demand that prices would soar further in coming months as the supply dies down.

Im evaluating a 2nd hand Electra 4S OR 5S. Don't know which to choose!
Also in a dilemma between Classic 350 & 500.

Hi

I have been riding a bullet since ages and trust me the original 4S right gear shift bullet is a beauty to own and by stopping production it becomes even rare to own. People will ask for a premium and I wouldn't be surprised if they ask for much more than what they initially paid for!!

Regards
Chandeep

P.S-Leaving you with a pic of my ride which I pimped up myself a few years back.

A friend of mine did get the classic 500 , and I like it as well. Take a test ride. If money wasnt the issue I would get the 500 (after I find hold of a standard 350 CI). The six month wait period is a joykill though.

I like the 500 CL too but not as much as the std. 350CI.

Test drove both 350 & 500 CL, 500 has fast pickup but 350 sounds better through the exhaust.

Default Re: Royal Enfield Bullet - Standard 350 - production to be stopped?

Guys,

1. Any idea for how many years the Spare Parts of STD 350 CI will be available?
2. Should I panic and sell the bullet? (Now will get a good price for it)

But then it is surely a pleasure to ride one.

Thanks,
Subu.

Very typical question.
Now the CI & AVL both are for enthusiasts only. It will be difficult day by to get spares and good mechanic. RE Service Centers are not good enough to serve. Peoples are already facing problem for parts availability of 500 cc machines (Std 500, Machismo 500 & Lightening 535).
But in case of Std 350 & Electra 4S, both are sold in good numbers and parts are no problems as on today. Search out the section and you will found threads for stacking of parts of bullets.

worried about parts for the Bull??
there are Yezdi and RD parts that are still available (not easy)

i would not worry about parts atleast until RE closes shop completely like RD or Yezdi...
