@msranade, you've got a unique machine, a head turner which sadly gets lost as KB-Croma mixup. Think it was not in market for long enough time to see good sales but as a product withdrawn from market pretty fast may be the reason why Prowler made to this thread. thanks for posting pics. cheers,

Lovely powertwin.A very nice example of the moped as in 2011-12.These disappeared so fast that very few may be left as survivors. Does it still have the self starter and battery?

Thank you very much for the picture sir.

Looks awesome..... I am Jealous
Only kidding.

Yes please do inform me if something comes up for sale.

Enjoy the Sportif.

Cheers

On a seprate note i was doing some research on Chamudi Motors and apparently then went bankrupt

Shame as the Sportif would have been successful eventually had they carried on.

Dont know if they are still manufacturing the LUNA or the TVS

TVS is still making their TVS 50 or whatsoever moped was there, Luna is no more in production, I think we have only TVS 50 with us as 2 stroke production moped now.

Hi Doc,
See again...you call it "MAG wheels", usually Alloy wheels are termed Mag wheels ( mind there is no such engineering term a MAG Wheels.....it is just our Automobile slang)
I repeat...Sportif has Sheet metal Spokes Wheel
PS: Did you visit OUR thread??

HI PT this is not to contradict what you have said, but the earliest cast wheels were using Magnesium, and originally the lighter wheels were made using this. Hence these types of wheels were referred to as "mag wheels". So the slang is not entirely without foundation.

Like some still refer to a distributor as "delco" after the original company who used to make these.

Really well preserved Sportif !!!

Best Regards & Drive/Ride Safe

See the below (from Wiki)

Alloy wheels are automobile (car, motorcycle and truck) wheels which are made from an alloy of aluminium or magnesium. They are typically lighter for the same strength and provide better heat conduction and improved cosmetic appearance than "normal" wheels. The earliest light alloy wheels made were made of magnesium alloys. Although they lost favor for common vehicles they remained popular through the 1960s albeit in very limited numbers. In the mid to late 1960s aluminum casting refinement finally started to allow manufacture of wheels that were safe. Until this time most aluminum wheels suffered from low ductility, usually ranging from 2-3% elongation. This meant these earlier aluminum alloy wheels were quite brittle, and as light alloy wheels at the time that were often made of magnesium and referred to as "mags" these early wheel failures were later attributed to magnesium's low ductility, when in many instances these wheels were poorly cast aluminum alloy wheels. Once these aluminum casting improvements were more widely adopted, the aluminum wheel took its rightful place as low cost high performance wheels for motorsports.

* Absolutely, you are right...every slang has a foundation, this particular "Mag Wheel" has strongest foundation of em all.
. My point was to insist " Sheet Metal Spokes Wheel" of SPORTIF....mostly people term it as " mag wheels".....So there is chance of misleading as if Sportif had alloy wheels !!

** Not only Delco, i can cite many more examples...but Sheet metal spokes wheels is entirely different from M-A-G Wheels

*** Thanks buddy...the previous owner preserved the documents ONLY till it was passed to me, Moped was like a skeleton and hard to start condition and was thrown in sun & rain for years together
Was restored after sourcing many vital parts with much difficulty
