Its fake but like some mentioned a pretty good attempt at one, infact not many would be able to make out that its fake.

Maybe he was trying to make it look like an R-15, underneath it might be a luna...

The guy did't even get the Yamaha logo correct.
The exhaust, IMO its from a scooty.

Rest of the stuff other members already pointed out.

Wasting money on crap mods like that, maybe it will boost the "M"hp for sure it will not increase bhp.

An already slow bike puts 30Kgs more.
Wonderful mod way to go...

HAHAHA!!! luna on the inside with scooty exhausts!!
i guess that makes me a complete loser for not identifying it was a fake on 1st glance, considering i have lived in dubai for about, err, almost all my life, where r1's are quite common. hell, my friend owned an r1 which i used to see just about everyday and yet this mistake by me!! im hopeless.

thankfully, my inner petrolhead woke up and told me that there was something fishy about this bike. no problems though, lesson learned. BIG thank you to all!!

I see a lot of people into such kits. This thing is surely gaining popularity, but then I feel like appreciating the craftsmanship but then such things makes not much sense with quiet lot of money involved.

Front discs,upside-down forks, tyres are all SBK parts!
The rear is horribly distorted though. Not a bad effort I would say!

Seems to be quite an expensive fake! The rims, discs and calipers are from a 90's Honda CBR .

These mods can go so high in price that you can get a used ZMA for that price. I'm quoting above 40 K for this one.
