Please take my word. Test drive the Rodeo/Duro/Flyte once and I am damn sure that all of you WILL change your opinions.

I did ride both Activa and Rodeo as they are owned by my sister and cousin brother. Both have their own USP's. The power delivery in Rodeo is really good and the engine doesn't strain much even when doing speeds of 70, which is more than good for a automatic scooter. The vehicle also feels quite agile.

Anyone has idea about the engines in Mahindra Duro. Is it the same SYM engine of the Mahindra Rodeo and the Mahindra Flyte carried over from the Kinetic Sym Flyte or it has the Kinetic Nova's engine.

Mahindra2wheeler website indicates a difference in Duro and Rodeo engine power.

Can anyone throw some light on this?

Mahindra Duro is the old Kinetic Nova, and the Mahindra Rodeo is the Kinetic Sym Flyte.

My friend had a Kinetic Nova, 4 years back. We used to call it a "Train", for its wild rumbling and clattering noise. Probably due to his riding style, the muffler would always break off from the exhaust pipe and clamps, and it's literally a FFE

A brand new Nova was a very good alternative to the Activa which always had a long wait time after booking.

The variant can be recognized by its dual-tone colour theme with contrasting racing stripes, body colored mirrors and colored wheels. The scooter also gets dual texture seat with anti-slippage surface.

The good sales of Centuro-although not shattering or groundbreaking-has inspired Mahindra to introduce this model with immediate effect. The Mojo which was green-lit way back is also set to make an appearance.
