Wait for the reviews, test drives, The Ninja is here to stay, Once you sell a RD I doubt that you can buy that back.

a ninja is no where close to the legendary rd 350cc.even after 25 years a good condition rd 350 can cruise in 5 th gear at 40 kmph without straining the engine.you said restored.it would have taken a lot of time & money.why sell your rd for a ninja.i own one & i swear by it.
post a pic of your bike here & we can give you the right suggestion. :-)

Sell off man, PM me the details you have one buyer LOL.
On serious note keep the RD and if you like the Ninja so much buy as another bike not replacement of RD.
See whaever bike comes to india as a premium badge on it getting compared to one and only one bike i.e. RD.

Even though I love the RD, I'll say its just a "Blackhole". Money will just keep going in. Buy the Ninja.

If it were upto me, then...HELL NO. NEVER. I'd plonk in a lac, go LC on the mother and add a few custom parts.

The RD is an RD. Was an RD. Will always be an RD. Sure, the Ninja might out-handle the RD, but the Ninja can't ever induce the wet-pants reaction like a full-blown Yammie.

As most of our friends have already iterated I would too, by saying keep the RD. The Ninja could be bought any time later, but an RD especially one that you have nurtured can never be replaced.

A nice build with geniune parts sure costs a bomb but it lasts long and comes cheaper than the local parts and frequent visits to so called RD specialists.

Buddy Please don't sell the RD, It's a cult bike. It's one of the best bikes that has been on Indian Roads.

Whats the hurry, wait for the reviews, There's a possibility the Ninja might be expensive to maintain as well (imported parts). Then selling a RD might turn out to be a mistake

@vinjaram, like most have said, please please please dont sell your RD350.
Assuming you have restored her well, and maintained her well, it might not get a new owner as dedicated.
Ninja is a good choice, but you can always buy a Ninja tomorrow, next year or five years later. You would regret a few days later if you sell off your RD350.

If you intend to sell it, pls PM me (on a shoestring budget now, but I will still give a try)

IMO you shld wait to see the performance of the Ninja before taking the plunge. As some people above said you can buy the Ninja anytime, but you cannot buy an RD later.

But if you want to make some moolah, then put an RD up for sale and you would find enthu buyers hounding you to strike a deal .

Can you put up some pics of your RD?
