I've not been able to find any info on their exhausts on the website. There are a few online sellers though. Why not call them up and see.

Since I do not live in Bangalore I don't know anything of their availablity there.Maybe the B'lore bhpians can help out.

Regards

Being in Bangalore, I would suggest going to RRP itself in Mahadevpura Industrial Area and you can buy from them directly.

I was shown this muffler when they were just released and it weighed quite a bit . I am sure the quality and life of these would be higher compared to the other free flows in the market and best part of all, RRP would have designed this muffler keeping a slight power bump in mind.

Hello Arjun,

I am looking to change the stock exhaust to a wild boar on my classic 350.
I mainly want to increase my cruising speed to about 90-95 km/h.
When you changed to a wild boar, how was your performance in higher rpm?
Was there any improvement or was the performance reduced. I understand that your acceleration will be improved using this silencer. Also, did you tune your carb when you got the wild boar?

A close friend got the Red Rooster Performance silencer for his TB 350. He paid Rs.8000/- for it.
The sound is 'boomy' with off-throttle backfires. He reported a bump in the low-end performance, but I'm not sure if it is placebo or otherwise!

Wow 8000, that's quite a lot of money for a slip on.
Did he not consider the Wild Board Exhaust?

Somehow the Red Rooster finish does not gel with the bike pretty well. It goes only with the Black Matte of TB.

Hi,
There is definitely improvement in mid to top end. I have been able to hit 140 kmp at max rev.And the acceleration is great too. My chrome is 500cc wit EFI so no carb.

Whoa

Didn't know such speeds could be attained on the 500 efi. Even if it could, quite dangerous isn't it.

Ride safe.

He did consider it, but he felt the RRP was better made. Also, the Wild Boar, according to him, is pretty common. He wanted something different.

I agree. The colour mismatch sticks out like a sore thumb.

I've been there too, in a bone-stock Classic 500, although I was convinced that the bike would fall apart from all the vibrations!
Anyway, does the bike misfire on the RRP? I tried swapping the stock exhaust for a 'short bottle', but the bangs and all the sniggers from fellow humans made me revert to stock!

hi all ,
I have a STD- 350 UCE (current Mileage 8.5K ) , i guess the engine run-in must have set by now, hence planning for a Short Bottle/Indori.

My doubt is about conical baffles.
What are these ?
How do they help us in creating the legendary CI thump ?

What are the hollow ones for ?
Do the Short Bottle/Indori come with a hollow/ free-flow option ?

I am confused here, expert opinion

Best rule is to complete the running in period of 2000 or finish the second service and upgrade.

Hi all,

I have a recent TBTS 500 Marine Blue completing 2177 on the ODO. Mine is an EFI bike. I've read reports where users have installed other silencers and have had an increase in top end torque and a loss at times on the bottom low end.

my question here is can i have a go at installing a different silencer?
Should i wait for all services to get complete?
What silencer should i look at - being the TBTS500?

Hi All,

Has anyone tried the Thumper Exhaust from Greasehouse? It costs Rs.3750 and they claim that it would give a power bump of 3.5bhp.

Would like to read some reviews before getting it fitted on my CL350.

Regards,
Vijay
