Does this lag in acceleration is initial or it remains as long as you use the bike at a time? To rephrase it, does the lag of acceleration is only felt when the engine is still not warm or it continues later also?
I have Machismo 500 and the lag of acceleration is very prominent till the engine is cold. It is a 2007 model and done 7000kms plus but fortunately has never given me trouble as 4X4 addict has faced!
@4X4 addict. I can imagine your plight and also I share my sympathies with you.(I am a bullet owner since 1997 and a rider since 89)

If they aren't disclosing it to you then there is high probably of missing valve stem seal. May be someone in the assembly line is a unhappy chap due to the RE management and poorly paid so he is venting out his anger on RE.

Hiccups are common on C5 but it will reduce when you get some mileage on it. Although do check the chain play, if its loose then get it tightened.

Default RE C500 or C350 or Thunderbird Twinspark?

Hi Buleeteers,

I have driven Thunderbird in the past, now I am mostly a Palio MJD addicted to torque.

Looking forward to do some biking and after reading the reviews feel an RE is better than the Yamaha,Suzuki,Honda,Pulsar & Apache on Indian roads

Please suggest me which RE is best in terms of ride, maintenance, fuel economy

Thanks
Amar
