+1 to that. I have got work done on my Getz at Oberoi and the guy does a great job. Changed my entire front suspension for half the cost that *** quoted. Genuine OEM parts used and car was kept for just about 2 days. I recommended another friend to take his Skoda there and he too is a fan.

Well what can i say! I have been recommending this workshop to many on tbhp for suspension, clutch, brakes and PS related jobs and all seem to be happy. He has recently hired a new senior guy (Dubai return) for all the AC and electricals related jobs. The advantage i have is that i live in the immediate next building and have known the guy for many many years now. (let me know if anyone is visiting him, we can have a mini tbhp meet..lol) Best part is that he is open on Sundays and as rightly advised....its better to take an appointment before hand.

I got influenced by the recommendations about this guy from this directory and I went ahead with it. My Verna (CRDI 2008) had suspension issues since 2 months. My local mechanic suggested few things and gave me budget of 30k. I did not go to A.S.S as it would cost me a bomb. So I decided to go ahead with Oberoi and I am not at all happy with the experience. I dont know if it is just one off incident but I am entitled to comment and this is not to malign anyones reputation. In short: I was given a quote of 15k and 2 days of work, so I asked him to go ahead with it. Next day he said that now that he has OPENED the car, he has found out that the expense ll be around 25k and he ll take 2 days more. After another 2 days he told me that he ll take another 2 days and expenses ll be 35k.Finally when I went to pick up my car after 8 days, I was shocked to see that car was soaking wet from inside. I have no idea how that happened. Car was stinking and I had to take it to 3M care for germclean or whatever the name was to get this thing rectified. While taking test drive with the guy I asked him as to whether I should change tyres as due to bad suspensions they were worn out.I was running on XM1+ and he suggested me that best tyres ll be MRF. I just kept quiet!Nothing against MRF but hope you get my point here. After one month of driving my car, I went to top up my nitrogen pressure in tyres and tyrewala told me that one of your michelins is replaced by a bridgestone. I was shocked. Yes, it is my mistake that I should have checked it at the mechanic while paying him but then who remembers all this everytime. I can narrate the entire story but I do think this is quite sufficient to give my opinion. I ll never give my car to this guy again even if he is certified by FIA! This is my short version and to best of my english vocab.
