Good to see the pictures of the production car, sreejinair. Thanks.

The Coupe like side profile makes one think that it may not be a car for tall people in the rear seat. The headroom is likely to be an issue. Hope it is not. As per Autocar India, the rear seats were meant to be redesigned for the Indian market.

The rear seats seem to be quite low and hence free up some headroom whn compared to Linea or Cruze. However it compromises under thigh support then.

@Poitive and P'arth;. I mentioned in my previous post, check out page number 22, 1 post above the pictures.

The coupe like look is really awesome but thats a problem when it comes to headroom, my friend who is 6.2 had no head room I think he was able to slide a finger between the roof and his head. A small bump on high speed and if you have a rear passenger who is 6.2 or +, expect some repair in his/her neck or spine

The front seat is comfortable, the rear seat is not that comfortable though, very less under thigh support and the sitting angle is definitely not suitable for a very long drive. Good enough leg room though.

That makes picking the 1.6 SX over the 1.4 a no brainer. I dont see the 1.4 doing well at all unless someone is on a very strict budget.

Thanks Sid, I believe these are the ex-showroom prices. For me too SX makes much more sense. Would love to go for the SX-O, but then are the additional features really worth the Rs 135K premium?

These, which I gathered from a previous post, are the extra features exclusive to SX(O):

Chrome Door Handles
Leather Upholstery
Smart Key
Four additional air bags

I really doubt these are worth 135K. I think SX is gonna cost much more than 8.75L; 10.1L for SX(O) looks believable though. However, the difference between AT and MT cannot be as less as 0.4L - I expect a diff of about 0.7L (based on the current Verna's pricing).

Along with the above mentioned features, I remember seeing a post saying reverse parking camera will be available only for SX(O)

Why only the diesel variant prices ? Don't we have the petrol variant prices also ?

For me at least the above features are not worth the additional 135K. Hope the all 4 discs, 16 inch alloys are retained in SX model, which are very much desired. Don't mind is reverse camera is not there in SX, can be done after market. Can't wait till tomorrow for the actual launch. Is there going to be live streaming? Any links?

There you are. I think we were bang on with the estimates as I can see. Hyundai anyhow did not have much leeway to price the cars outside of this band.

Something tells me that at 10.10 Lakhs the 1.6 SX-O with all the bells and whistles and the 6-speeder manual gearbox is going to run roughshod over the competitors.

I got a call from a dealer in BLR. He mentioned that approx price for SX(o) diesel Auto will be b/w 11.5-11.75L. It doesn't match with your indicated price. if 10.5 is the ex-showroom price then the OTR will be ~12.5L in BLR.

To me, your indicated prices look more realistic than what dealer mentioned.

10.10L for 1.6 SX-O ex-Delhi prices would be easily equivalent to roughly 12.5L OTR down south. Even if it's a top-end manual version, wonder who will dole out that kind of money on a Verna.

I would have imagined the top-end model should have been priced 11.5L OTR southern city so as not to tread over to other segment territory and also if they are looking at large volumes. I beileve the transform was 9.5L OTR Delhi and due to their consistent increment in pricing their sales dipped downwards.

Will keep an eye out for the confirmed pricing especially city-wise if that's available somewhere.
