The euro version has the cruise control, wonder how we can get it installed on our cars.

Thanks for sharing

Studying so that I could add all kinds of wheels to my garage

I never knew we could install cruise control to an existing car, thought it always came pre-installed.
It is a handy feature indeed.

An optional technology/safety package containing Cruise control, Collision avoidance system and a Lane departure warning system would've been well received by the Urban and Highway driving crowd which is the catchment area for crossover market.

OBD-II is standard for all the cars after nineties. The tool and software are generic, it works on almost all cars. You just have to find your OBD-II port, which will be accessible distance from drivers seat, plugin the device, and you must be good to go.

Like all cars ecosport has its limitations. How do we expect it to behave like a submarine in water,Ferrari on good roads and Toyota land cruiser on broken roads.

Please understand the dynamics of the car and then drive it accordingly.

IMHO toppling, water getting inside the engine and tyre side wall bulges /damages are all user/driver errors
Another instance of a ford ecosport toppling but from what i was told it seems like another case of driver error rather than anything to do with the car itself. Supposedly a bend was being negotiated at 100+ speed when the car went offroad and landed on the roof. Left suspension has been completely destroyed.

You can get them easily on ebay for 1k. On aliexpress they are cheaper and are available with a on/off button (Remember OBD scanners use battery when car is off too).
The app is Torque pro and is terrific, i've been using it for months.

Hi Team-BHPians,

I am a newbie to Team-BHP. Excited to be a Team-BHPian. Looking forward to be part of the action here.

I am Taking delivery of ES 1.5P AT next week just in time before price hike. Any cues on PDI for AT version - anything to lookout for specifically. The car is a Dec make, Mars Red, and was booked on 26th June.

After waiting for an exhaustive 4 months with lots of patience, was informed by my dealer that I would get the delivery only after price hike. I don't want to spend ~1lakh extra for no fault of mine hence cancelled my booking. Got some astounding deals on vento and rapid and I'm much impressed with these European machines. So it's bye bye Ford for me!
