Thanks, wanderingwolf.
I have conveyed the same and looks like he already booked W11 FWD AT.

The FE that you got was really amazing for a such a big engine/vehicle.
May I know what speeds you were doing to get these figures.

Looking forward to an ownership report from your side.

Enjoy your new procurement. Happy and safe driving!

hi Deemash,

a prudent decision by your cousin I must say.

From Ahmedabad to Vadodara, I cruised at Cruise Control set at 90. Post Vadodara to Mumbai I maintained an average speed of between 80 and 90, with occasional spurts of 110-120 for overtaking.

regards

Drove my XUV W6 AT to Sikkim (New baba mandir next to Nathu La, tsomogo lake, some sections of old silk route), Darjeeling, India Bhutan border in monsoon rains, slush and landslides. Also drove up a muddy mountain trail with stones to reach a WBFDC resort near Paren. The XUV AT is a very competent vehicle. Never ever felt loss of power. I did not have to go up the rocky terrain or any slope at speed, it can pretty much start from standstill if required, even on wet rocky areas. The bridgestones have done 70000+ kms. Performed flawlessly at 14000 ft.

That's very assuring to hear. Is it an AWD or FWD?

OT, how to thank a post on mobile app

Edit : OOPS...W6 must mean FWD only 😋

Not sure if this has been covered before (please delete if it did).

Since i had First gen W6 manual before, i was confused weather the service interval is still based on KMS and Time frame (whichever was earlier). But got my query cleared from WYH app through chat.

Now Plush Gen XUV's service interval's are KMS based ONLY. For e.g.

First service has to be done at 1000 kms, 2nd at 5000 kms and 3rd at 10000 kms and 4th at 20000 kms. The only condition is that all free service needs to be completed under warranty (which is 3 years).

Now there is no time frame like earlier which was one year. So even if your running is low and you complete your 10000 kms (3rd service) even after 2.5 years, it still ok as its under 3 years.

This is very good news for a lot of customers who do not cross the stipulated odometer number. They can now save a fair packet over time.

In the interest of safety and life, I would recommend they check the condition of the engine oil using a simple tissue paper test once a year if they do not intend to get it replaced due to the low mileage clocked by their XUV, and a general check up, either on their own or at a trusted outlet.

The fine print in the service manual mentions that Engine Oil has to be changed every year, Brake Fluid every 2 years irrespective of the mileage. I think this is being missed by most people including the Service Advisors.
