Mats looks neat and elegant. Is it possible to buy online? And are 3D mats available for the new Endeavour?

I found these on Ali too. Approx. 240 $. How long did the delivery take? And did you get charged for Customs? Also which delivery mode did you choose? Hong Kong Post or China Post?

Try searching for Everest - maybe it's listed under that - which is the name of the Endy model for every country other than India.

OT: I ordered a custom Fort seat covers, which ended up not fitting. Then tried using the towel-type (very thin towel material as compared to the ones we used to have stitched years ago) premade ones for the new Safari Storme we got on my Fort and they seemed to work! Maybe that helps someone - but it's a trial and error method!

Finished 5000 km since delivery on 17th May 2016. Effortless performance and hardly any complaints.

Small niggles below:

1) Rubber bush under the center armrest has come off so the armrest keeps dipping down whenever I rest my arm on it.
2) Tyre pressure monitoring was acting funny with me warning me about low pressures despite checking all 5 tyres. This problem went away on it's own.
3) The ABS on the inside of the bootlid has come off. The press fit fasteners have given way and is exposing the motor and the cabling within the boot lid. Need to get this fixed.

Apart from that driving this behemoth has been superb. Using it regularly between Bangalore and Chennai and travel times are typically 4-5 hours with the cruise locked at 120 kph. Mileage is slowly ticking upwards as the engine settles in and am now getting around 9.5 kmpl with the AC and the pressures at 35 psi. Was getting 7-8 kpl early on, so this is a big relief.

Thanks. Yes, bought them off Aliexpress, delivered by Hongkong Post - India Post. No customs duty paid, delivery was within 12 Days, due to the bulk of the parcel India Post asked me to come in and collect personally.

I found two ugly looking bolts in the floor, under pedals. May I know why it is not covered? Is it only in mine?
Please see the pics.

No nuts? It appears there was something there (a washer) on the one on the right.

Is that the steering column which is not covered either? (Like the end of a CV joint, lubed with grease?)

It should have a rubber boot covering it, I would gather...

Guys had a query. I am getting Maxxis 285/60 R18 for 24000 in exchange for my 4 Wanderers. If I do switch the set is there any issue with Ride Quality / Warranty.

Ford Service Manager ( my friend ) was advising me against it saying there is some headlight sensor near the suspension and Ford could raise warranty issues. Please confirm guys. 285 would reduce the gap to some extent

285 is actually the section width of the tyre and from what I could see the present section width of 265 adequately covers the width of the wheel arches. If it is the gap at the height of tyres then you would want to switch to higher inch wheels like 20"from 18" which is actually offered in the higher end versions in the Everest for Australia.

Increasing the section width of the tyre does enhance the already butch look of the car but severely impacts fuel efficiency. Increasing the wheel size to 20" on the other hand would impact off road drive quality due to shift in COG.

Hope this puts things in perspective to take a wise decision.

Finally got the Left side head light assembly replaced as well.
Here is the picture (perfect), after fixing both left and right side headlamp assemblies.
Ford Endeavour : Official Review-fixed-lr.png
special thanks to the elite ford service manager.
btw. No programming is required after the lights have been fixed.

While I was in the service station, the PCM (powertrain control module) was re-set and there was a new version of the software available. it automatically downloaded and updated the software.

Initial assessment on FE.
While I went to service center (10 km) in moderate traffic , FE was 6.5.
while coming back after updating PCM, in similar traffic, FE was 8.7
I would watch for next few weeks and update you guys if this made any big difference.

Here is exactly the steps conducted by the tech to re-update PCM (a YouTube video).
the powertran adaptive tables were not cleared (may be they were not aware of this), after watching the video, may be someone can explain to the tech next time.

Thanks a lot. They look cool and seems to fit well.
Looks like one can brush off dust easily since the edges sit over the carpet crevice.
