I dont think you would get anything more on a Tjet with any other dealer as well. I had booked the car on the first day and they took about 6 days to get the car.

Cheers
So if I am not wrong, u got a quote of 10.85 odd minus the ext warranty offer.
Latest quote from kht- 10.74 otr in premium color. but no sunfilm.

I have decided to book a tjet plus. will make the bioking on tuesday.
i also went thru prerana motors rajajimagar. the sales guy was very helpful and got the car twice to my house.
today went again to the vento td and was not enough to convince me to change my decision.

Congrats Vinay! Have many many power miles on the T-Jet. Hiphop Black Linea is a beauty, but I guess it is a bit tough to maintain the shine.

Can you maintain the FE statistics for the T-Jet for the first 3000kms and share it in the ownership report please? I would like to have the total fuel consumed and the ratio of city / highway run for the first 3000kms. My friend is planning for a T-Jet after a few months and he is eager to have these stats from a T-Jet owner.

I checked with Pandit Auto Pune and the OTR is 10,03000. Plus he offered me 3,000 corporate discount.

I think this is a good offer.

If I exchange my Vista, then I get 2.85 L as the car's value + 20000 exchange bonus. So final cost of TJet+ is somewhere around 7.5 L.

But I don't intend to go for it immediately, but not sure how long can I wait. T Jet is too tempting.

I test drove the TJet couple of days back. Man! What torque, what power. I am going nutz over it now. Right now, dont have the budget or parking space for it. After my SDX gets delivered, if I happen to buy another car in near future, it has to be the TJet unquestionably. Its a stunner!

Linea had 3 major problems.
1) Extremely poor performance with awkward gear ratios.
2) Interiors
3) A.S.S
At least the 1st point is more than compensated. And some improvement and effort in the remaining aspects.

The T-Jet has got a +ve response.
I really want it to put the sales chart on fire. May be 500 T-Jet per month, with not more than 100 cannibalizing other variants. Sounds good?
If this succeeds then maybe...maybe they will bring in the 1.6 multijet as well.
We all know Indians love diesel. Just bring it on.

Good to see a fair number of T-Jets being sold. If the trend continues, Fiat should acknowledge the fact that its poor performance thus far was due to mediocre engines and unpardonable fit and finish that it had dished out.

Also going by the sales experience of quite a few prospective buyers, Fiat dealers seem to behave like the VW ad where they donot want to let go of the cars (here from the showroom). Nothing can be worse than slighting a prospective customer. Hope that aspect is also taken care of.

Being a hatch lover, I am waiting for that too. Right now the only hot hatch I can think of is Polo 1.6.

I disagree with point number 3. Over the last couple of years, the A.S.S has improved atleast 10 fold. I had a fantabulous experience with FIAT with my used Palio as well as my friend's Punto that I had for a few months. If there was any issue, a.S.S were proactive than reactive. I too had not expected it to be so good. I felt pretty delighted at the care I and my cars received.

Hope the TJet does wonders. The performance is such that, it deserves a great response. I feel anyone who drives the jet, will really get a feeling of flying. I cant comment on the older Linea as I never test drove it.

Congrats man, need to drive your car tomorrow, keep yourself free

Black looks smashing.

I still feel, FIAT Multijet engines are the BEST in the Country available as on date, You cant find another manufacturer coming out with such a great engine, and add a Petrol Turbo to it, its like icing on the cake.

@Earthed: Congrats! Its a wonderful acquisition. I am sure you will love driving her. I WONDER how one could run-in such a beast of a car. I am sure you will have tough time controlling your right foot. Seek a ortho's advice on how not to push the pedal too hard during run-in.

It looks to me like it is tuscan wine color and not black. Earthed, correct me if I am wrong.

Also, its time to return the favor of driving my NE. Now, will you let me drive your Jet for a while? Am I lucky enough? I insist you let me drive whatever your response might be
