I think I know the one that you are talking about. Is it the one that is going through a restoration/modification in a garage in Mathikere? I have seen it but somehow missed taking pics of it and remembered on my way back . Does this one also belong to you Raghavendra?

Great job Pavan. The rear left wheel looks like it has too much positive camber. Any issues with the suspension?

Congratulations Pavan on a job well done. VEry well executed and 18 months is not at all a long time. The car is detailed beautifully. 1303 super beetles are very few indeed. Enjoy her.

Thank you Santosh.

The stretch buggy will be a new thread coming soon on T-BHP.

This belongs to a friend of mine, This is is dream project.

I am helping him out with few things in his process of restoration.

This buggy has been in process since 5 yrs and hopefully we intend this will get wrapped up in the next 15 days.

16th of Jan 08 is the deadline we have maintained to get this rolling on road.

Initial testing has been completed. Its in the final stages.

Request all T-Bhp to hold on till then.

Will start the thread before 15th of this month.

Thank you Blue pulsar, This is my only way to beat stress.

Thank you Stanher, hope your herald comes out well within time

Thank you V-16, yes the 1303 Beetles are rare as they were released only for a certain period of time and the only Beetle to have a 1500 cc 58 bhp engines. Not even the super beetles gone beyond 52 BHP.

LALVAZ thank you, The car is indeed serving me very well.

Thank you Nitin,

Thank you Ram and Jaggu, Some times you just get onto this and you cant stop.

Busa, Thank you,

The engine is stock 1500 cc and 58 bhp

This car can do such speeds.

If your engine restoration is well balanced.

Thanks crazy dirver, Do you remember the movie Herbie-The Love Bug.

Watching this movie kindled the desire to own one bug.

Those days i was under the impression that this car can actually do all such things shown in the movie.

Eventually this passion caught up year after year and prompted me to give life to my BUG.

And i am shocked to find that my assumptions at the age of 13 were not false at all.

Some how there's something about this car. I STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND
