I know the brother Sam had a Velo Viper. he took me for a spin on it. They also bought the Goldie off a common friend in Bangalore- in fact, the very same friend that introduced us.

Rueben and his brother Sam both have Velocettes, I guess both are Venoms. Sam's bike was updated to a 500 Clubman's spec, red with fairing. Both superb daily riders. Both came from Pune originally, Sam's bike is BMF regd, Rueben's is MHJ. Rueben also has a Goldstar, he has/had a second one as well. One is BYH, one is MYV, I forget which is which (350, 500).

Reubin's GoldStar is 500 DBD - MYV 7155. Previously owned by Karl Munshi. His Velocette is MHJ 8164, previously owned by Dinshaw Batliwala.

Sam's Velocette is BMF 78, previously owned by Parvez Besadia.

Is it possible to get the original frame number of the Matchless that is owned by your friend? If you would it would help with the register created by the Hawk and Arrow group. Also if your friend who onws the bike requires parts for an Arrow I could put him on the someone in the UK who has many spares.

Hi to all,

Ok I am restoring my BSA B31 and BSA C12.

I am in the process of doing up the engines and I need some parts - can anyone help me here?

For the B 31 350 plunger I need the timing gear set.

For the C 12 250 swing arm I need the following:

Timing Gear Set
Original Tail Light - Lucas
Original Amal Front Brake and Clutch Lever with mountings
Original Throttle Rotor
BSA Tank Badges
BSA C12 Knee Pads on tank and Knee Pad mounting plates
Original Footpeg rubbers with BSA Logo

Also can someone please share the original front and rear wheel rim specs and can it be uprated to 2.15X19" rim with a 3.50X19" rear tire?

Looking for help.
