Smile Hi

Thank You Guy's.

I am planning a Mettalic Blue for it.

@Scooby - Can we transport it to your garage for futher work?.

@ramie - i am thinking of getting Chromed alloys specially fabricated for it so that i will not have to modify anyting - in case i need it to be original at times.

i think the car would great in a darker colour. you wont believe it mettalic royal blue or a black blue was on the tip of my tongue. the effect of the chrome on the car would be enhanced with it.
scooby?? i think you mean me.
if it is directed to me i would suggest on your next visit to bom you go to my place have a look. see the work and the time availability. when you are satisfied you bring down the car. i would be glad to help.

Now Thats a Loooooong Story.

I will tell not only HOW But WHY!!!.

My car was on the verge of getting the Base Coat.
I decided it was high time that i tried starting the car as it was not done for 3-4 months. The old battery was no good.
I brought A new battery, fuel pump etc. Kept evertihing ready. ie petrol, oil etc. New spark Plugs Were installed too.

After doing all necessary things. gave it a Crank. Nothing!!!. The engine's not firing only turnig.

Checked the Current at Sparkplugs No Current.

Opened the distributor. And There - NO DISTRIBUTOR ROTOR - It was gone. I had never removed it. Then where the hell did it go.

Looks like I have got A Problem Here.

There was no hope of getting it anywhere. I could only find one in bombay which ultimately dint work.
4 - 5 months passed by.
I searched here & there in But in Vain. Searched it on the Net.
Found one in stock with DATMAN UK. But dint have an international Credit card for buying it.

Everthing was to a standstill.
One Fine Day I was at work as usual - Hotel front office.
I happened to make contact with a Doctor - Born in Pakistan & brought up in The UK.

He was very kind also passionate about Cars. I asked him if he could help me out & he was happy to oblige. He was returning to Uk & comming back 2 weeks later. He asked me to give him the contact details of DATMAN UK. ( i decided to bring in more parts for future too).

I did so. He said i will contact him & order the parts for me & bring them for me while comming back to india. I offered to pay him the cost before leaving india. But he refused.

The Kind Man Ordered the Parts, Paid for them by his card & brought them while comming back to india. I was the Most happy person then. I paid him here in Rupees. I Invited him for Dinner that day.

I got my parts from him at 2.15 in the morning. When he returned from UK.

Guess What - It was 8th April 2007 my "BIRTHDAY".
what better present will i get than this.

Thats How I Got my Parts. He is now a good friend of mine. He even said that tell me what you need, i will send it to you. Pay when a healthy sum is accumulated. But he has already brought what i need.

Thanks to that "Kind Hearted Man".
