Congrats Mr. Jatti on this wonderful restoration. Was the air conditioner fitted during this restoration?

Any picture of the car before restoration? Would love to see the engine pictures too.

Cheers

@ S.B.Jatti: Good work! Fully restored classic mustangs are hard to come by in India. So it's nice to see one in pristine condition.

Does it have a 'muscle' V8 or the so-called 'pony' in-line 6?

Nice work on the Mustang Mr Jatti.Truly amazing.Love the interiors.

The mustang in the 1st pic doesn't it belong to the owner of Team Motor Works Santacruz.I have seen the car on a couple of occassions and my does it sound loud even when it was idling in bumper to bumper traffic on SV road.Must be thrilling to drive one of these.

These are Japanese units called "Supercool". They were initially used in Ambassdors, Fiats etc. Some new units are still available in Delhi.

Sirji, i meant the mustang on page 1. My mistake i didn't pinpoint accurately as to which car i was talking about.

I was on Juhu Versova Link Road when I saw an old car being towed. From far it looked like the Contessa - but the tail lights were very much different. A clear giveaway that it was a Ford Mustang. The car was black, there were no registration plates, there was a LOT of body work done on the car (across the complete outline), it was a LHD, had steel wheels.

Inquired with the towing van driver if they are gonna scrap the car (which I obviously knew they weren't). He mentioned that it is being taken to Bandra (Toyato Tech) to be restored.

It was a 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe. And not a 67.

Sorry "Mustang Collector" but there is no such thing as a 289 V6 .... its a 289 V8. and they do move. Them 289 K codes move mighty quick.
