so am i khanak, i cant stand these after market fitments on classic and vintage cars unless ofcourse the car is not original and you have to play with it cause of lack of original parts available for it. this beetle looks very good with the wheels.

Hi Speedy pictures from our Sept 23rd Rally......something interesting happened ,one visitor was requesting the owner of the red car with 2 fog lamps to fulfill his wish. I belive he is getting married on Oct 15th and after the wedding his wish is to be driven away in a Beetle....!!!

hi naren,

the beetles look fabulous. the red beetle with the fog lamps has aftermarket wheels right.
yeah i have had those requests too for my cadillac. all of the time i decline as i am scared for the safety of the car. i had given it for a friends wedding once and had a gaurd and a railing put around the car. that time i spent more time outside checking on the car than at the wedding

hey speedy..wild guess they are'nt Aura wheels! Its a brand called eurobein which i sourced out from malaysia, shipped in vis a wholeseller here in bangalore. they are in fact 14" wheels and needed some customisation to fit in so that they dont touch the sides of the front struts...mine is a super beetle (hence the strut suspension assembly)...plus its also crucial that you get the right offset.
Lemme know if i can help you in the future!! thx for appreciating my baby

they looked similar due to the centre hub. could not recognise my fault comppletely.
my beetle is a 1100 and probably the one i am eyeing is a 1300 i think it is in bad shape so does not have any badgeing on it. would i also need to customisation to fit other wheels. the beetles due to their funny offsets you dont have much choice fortunately i have a friend in america who also owns a beetle so i would be asking him to send me the wheels.
IVI the way you have maintained your car is unbelievable. i wish i can do the same to mine. too many cars so some get neglected. have to ristrict my numbers now. am trying to achieve my next beetle colours on photoshop, but as i am not a good artist it does not come right. want to show it to you guys so that i can get a feedback for it.
