Gordon,

This car has gone to a dealer, and yes Mumbai having a Beetle club and this happening to a Beetle, i feel its not appropriate.

The car is average and has been used. There are no fittings on the car.
Where is the USP on this?

Not greatly maintained, and a price of 4 lacs on this is ...?

Better maintained cars in Bangalore comes at 3 lacs to 3.50 lacs
.

Default vw bugs

Hi, mike from delhi. The price of bugs, even the unrestored ones has really shot up in the last two years. In any case these cars are no longer so easily available.

Vintageman,

Even old scooters are not available for 7000 Rs.

You've picked up the shell or what.

There's a white '66 LHD white beetle in chennai.
Seller wants 2.75L. Might close the deal at 2.5.

Rubbish. I saw the car a few hours ago, its very much around. While it is a one parsee owner car, and complete and running well, the body has been patched up several times over the years. While im not saying its in really bad shape, it isnt anything exclusive.
