Uh, I think Karl's plates are not plastic but metal ones only? They were very common like 20 odd years ago.

It's not about the material the number plates are made of, it's about the style of text and font!

Jaydev, congrats on the Landy.

Really amazing!!! Looks like the car is rolled out of show room.

Awaiting for the sun visor & working semaphores.

- Cheers, Jose.

What a great lookin' Landmaster, I would have thought she rolled out of the showroom just today! Congratulations on the restoration, Jay D. I know a little about the focus, passion & effort required in a build....your hard work has paid off. Kudos!

Dear Jay D

congrats the car's come out well. Even for my Landmaster i had the same issue later i did the strencil cut and made it little better. However in bangalore and chennai they do mould the numbers and alphabets to the font and size one wishes to same can be done in copper / alluminium the costs are a bit high but the finished product is what your cars requires.

if you would like i can forward the details of this person.

OMG!! Amazing!

By the way, the other day I saw (I think) a Landmaster at Inner Ring Road in Bangalore. Why I am mentioning this is because it was modified like an Amby and had a sticker on its rear windshield saying "Born in 1957". It was 'blue-ish" in color. I think it was a Landy.

Does anyone know about it?

Congrats JayD!!! Very very well executed. Simply love the color combo and the white wall tyres. Agree with Karl's suggestion on the Horn Ring, Steering Color and the period Number plates. No changes required in a hurry though. Your car looks fab just the way it is. Enjoy.

Default Job well executed!

Saw this car in real, took it for a short spin, clicked some snaps.. aaaaah... absolutely fabulous!! A great possession JayD!

Every nook and corner is very well attended, tastefully done.

This car stands out whereever it goes, and the comments/talks/questions goes like "old ambassador", "aaaah... a Landmaster", "from where did u get this?" "how much spent?", "How much are you expecting?", etc etc..

Really love the car man. CONGRATS!
