Suggest you list the required spares. Depending on the item, put up a photo because many spares are available where label has been lost.
Then one can see how one can help.

Hello Sir,
Wondering a bit about your post. You asked for psrts, but did not list your requirements. You offered to post "a snap or two of the result by end november..." but no picture of car as she was when work started or progress pics. Never mind about the parts, but some pics..........?

The almost done DeSoto looks good, great job. Was this car from the estate of Kurundwad Senior?

There is a similar car in Bangalore for sale but needs work to reach the condition of your car.

Actually these were Plymouth Belvedere's which were sold as DeSoto, Dodge & Plymouth. The difference being the grills, front fenders, hood emblems, hubcaps, horn buttons & badging. All came with the P25, 6 Cyl. engines of Plymouth. The front fenders of Plymouth and DeSoto were common. All sedans were assembled in India and hence were RHD. The convertibles were imported and hence were LHD.

Cheers

KPS
Hi
Seems you were a great fan of the convertibles.
The only thing I knew or remember is that Dodge and Plymouth had different grills.
The rest you have added to my knowledge which to begin with is very little.Hats off to you to have such an eye for details.
Regard

Congratulations, she looks great. Nice to see a car in Pune being restored - the scene has been too dormant of late.

That car is also in Pune, but different from this, and still with the family from new.
