Thanks for the pics Manish. The Prez looks so original. Wonder how they manage to keep it so original.

TBhp and FIATs are like a VIRUS! Difficult to stay away from them no matter what!

As part of the FCB Second Anniversary Celebrations, we FCB Founders went on a Drive to Andhra Pradesh for breakfast.

Some pics.

Our next trip is to HYDERABAD! We just loved the Bangy-Hyd highway. We can have a great weekend with our FCCH friends. Already dreaming of PARADISE Biryani!

Yes I forgot! Thanks da. I somehow felt I had seen this car before. This bugger doesn't attend our meets in-spite of so many reminders. He keeps travelling between Bangy and Mys.

Edit: This is why Shyam Anna got the Distinguished status.

Edit 2: Nimmage means what? lol

Happy Holi to All.

A lovely factory pic. indeed! I presume these fiats are the elegants, going by the shape of the holes for the parking lights.

Some pics from recent mini FCB Meet at Sujith's house to celebrate 2 years since FCB had their First Official Rally ie on April 19th 2009. We cut a cake and celebrated on road along with FIATs!

Next FCB Meet will mostly be in June when it starts raining!!

Hi FCBian's
There is a '56 FIAT for sale, contact Mr Venkateshappa at 9535058613 or 9632348882, he has a spare engine as well. The car is not totally original as it has some modifications like floor shift etc he mentioned however that all the original parts which have been changed are available with him.
Unfortunately he did not have the 56 model tail light assembly which I desperately need for my car.
My FIAT is back in the workshop as I had a gasket blowout due to overheating.
Regards,
Col Deepak Gopinath

Sound great! When are you guys planning to come to Hyderabad? It would be a pleasure interacting with you guys in person! And yes, a trip to Hyderabad will be incomplete without Hyderabadi Biryani and Irani Chai!!

Regards and Keep Revving,

Rahul Waghmare.

A close friend of mine got a Premier FIAT S1 Padmini from Delhi. From the past few days, I have had the opportunity of using this Padmini FIAT as my daily drive to my Hospital. The s1 is 1996 model, completely stock and very well taken care off by my friend.

The car attracts everyones attention on the road and also the other Docs in my Hospital. I wonder that may be this wonderful masterpiece of engineering might cure some diseases if my patient is taken for a drive.

The s1 with Nissan gearbox and de-gaussing tank reduces the engine noise so much. With better two-pipe manifold the sound beat is simply to die for. India is very very lucky to had this car on road for so many years. Thanks to the Bangalore FIAT Club and Mumbai FIAT Club, FIATs are back on road. Hats off to you guys.

The good news is, as I am typing this message, my 1954 model Millecento will be delivered to me after a restoration of three years. Its a sparingly driven car driven just 40,000kms in 5 decades. Sounds exciting rite? Yes, you should be. The car is actually 90% original as it was in a garage locked for 42 years when I was in US.

More details soon.

I came across this car close to my house and was keen to know how much a car like this would cost me to buy, restore and make it ready to use regularly??

What are problem areas I should be aware of? Can members here advice?
