Hehe, thats brilliant! I intend to get one when I`m older, perhaps to write about my travels in a '37 Lincoln Touring Cabriolet (another thing that I intend to get when I`m older!!)

1 Month? Now I know what you meant by Lightning Fast! Hats Off. No comparision at all, but most garages will be hard pressed to do such a job so quickly on a current car too.

I just ran thru this and its simply stunning ! Hats off to you, your wife and the team in bringing this beauty back to life. I have visited Roerich's estate a couple of times (more than 15yrs ago) and your pics brought back memories We even went for a nice dip in that lake once ! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, folks!
While rummaging in my papers for photos of earlier restorations, I came across an album of photos taken on a long journey in my Austin several years back. Have posted a new thread in the Travelogue section, as I thought it belongs there.
Hope this is not considered off topic by the Mods.

But your photos are not of the Roerich Fleetmaster! Our car has not been opened up since 2004. This is some other car. The interior is totally different and so is the colour. Where is this car, anyway?

I think it was a later (by one year) car that was spotted in Goa.

Oh my! Oh my! State of the art "Gold Mining" Isn't it?

By reading thru' this thread the only thing that comes as a revelation to me is "It is extremely difficult to restore something that has been mortally preserved"

But you have done it. Excellent job.
