Sheet metal and rust repair is easy as i specialise in metal finishing body repair, trim and acccesories are all orig, and were removed, repolished or replated was very lucky with this vehicle as it was a really good solid car to start with, unlike my black 59 chevrolet belair that required me to rebuild absolutely every thing and only took me 8 years!!
A lovely example. I think there is no other car of this kind in India. Imports of CBU's from the west were stopped by 1955 and so the Dodge's, Plymouth's and Desoto's vanished from showrooms. GM and Ford had packed up earlier too! So this as you say is an import under the then prevailing laws. Many Archbishops in the 1960's were gifted with rarely seen, brand new contemporary American cars , those days. Its really worthwhile to note that they maintained these immaculately. The spares availability and repairs in our country must have been really given all those concerned goose pimples.I have not seen much new American cars with Archbishops in the 1970's and 1980's.
Please post some dashboard and interior pictures.

Chirs, simply commendable effort there I must say. As I go through this thread I am simply stunned and speechless as I see the places she has travelled. She is flawless and impeccable and looks just out of the showroom. Once again, fantastic work and I really appreciate it.
