| saw this BSA M20, parked at bhavani mantap in kolhapur. what a beauty and she seemed to be in excellent condition!!!wow couldn't take my eyes off her........proudly displaying her 1942 ancestry!!!!!!!!!!! |

| Well, it's not an M20. The fact that it is OHV gies it away as a B31 350cc, moreover the plunger suspension only appeared in 1949. 1942 0n the tank is just wishful thinking. |

| Yes. This is a 350cc BSA BB31. Early 50's Model. M20's also had plunger frames but that was only towards the end. But from the engine set up this this is confirmed as a BB31. |

| The Bike posted is B31 plunger, likely to be '49 or '50. Even "swing arm " 350cc OHV BSA's was termed B31, till mid 1954, after that same B31 swinging arm Bikes were upgraded with more stiffer suspension & came with a sticky .."B" ...thus BB31.* If in doubt check out @ " BSA singles restoration " by Ray Backon mind, this is book not a link!! @ Pratap{ lockheed}: Did you notice, the front fender AJS M16 looks cool on this BSA ( just ignoring the Stock, originality & stuff ) |
