Default Restoration of a 1937 Austin Big 7 / Austin Six Lite

Encouraged by the successful restoration of 1937 AUSTIN 7 RUBY , I managed to acquire a 1937 AUSTIN BIG 7 also known as AUSTIN 7 SIX LITE 4 Door Saloon and enjoyed bring it back to life. A little bit of finner details are yet to be done. Restoration photos are shared.

Hi Ravi,

Neat looking Austin, hope you enjoy many happy motoring hours.
A question my limited knowledge on Austins prompts me to ask, why have you converted the brake system to hydraulic?

The Austin 7 had mechanical brakes by Girling, quite effective if properly maintained.

Could anyone please post a few pictures of an unmolested pytchley sun roof as fitted to 30's pre war cars.i have a 39 austin 12/4 which at some point had its sunroof welded shut to the roof.i would be very grateful for any help.

Thanks,Really appreciate the effort you have taken and the links the last picture is very good for me If you find any pictures from the inside specially the locking mechanism and drain channels i will know how to fabricate them,pls do forward any pictures to me

thanks ,a great picture indeed, it looks to be probably a weather shield sunroof, but it does give a good interior and headliner reference.am attacing a picture of my car as of its present state.
