I've only seen pics of the Mysore Black Prince, but will try to find out more regarding this possible Bahawalpur example

Mr. Faiz Mohammad Abbas and Mr. Bahauddin Abbasi were maternal uncles of Nawab Sadiq M Abbasi V, had (Urdu: Mamun, i.e their sister was married to Nawab Bahawal Abbasi V, father of Nawab Sadiq Abbasi V.)
This car was bought by Mr. Faiz Mohammad Abbasi, an Honarary Magistrate in Bahawalpur Govt. from an English gentleman. The family is quizzical on the Major prefixed to his name. The car was sold by him to his real brother Sahibzada Bahaudin Abbasi . From him the car came in ownership of his son Sahibzada Hamid Khan Abbasi who passed it on to Sahibzada Mahboob Abbasi , a retired Govt. officer who remained deputy commissioner etc. and rose to become secretary Punjab Assembly. The car is reportedly still with his two sons.
It is safe to assume that it was not the Nawab Sahibs car at any stage and not from the motorkhana Nij for sure.
This family, though related to HH Sadiq Abbasi V, desended from Sahibzada Jaffar Khan, a rival claimant to the throne in Bahawal V ‘s time. Understandably Mr. Faiz M Abbasi was not in the Nawab Sadiq’s good books so the following can be ruled out:
1. The car was bought by HH and gifted to his uncle hence the BWP registration
2. The car carried RED BWP plates during lifetime of HH ( died 1966)
3. He was given an honorary rank of Major in the Bahawalpur forces.

Registration PBR 2358 as seen on the presented registration document, (which is much mutilated and over written for comfort.) could be original number. Reportedly a newer registration in new owners name exists, but not of consequence in this forum.

I had seen this car in 2005 in Bahawalpur. Will post pictures .
The BWP series on red plates was reserved for the Nawab sahibs Motor khana Nij cars. If the plates on this car are on Black background then maybe a later registration in that series after the death of Nawab Sadiq V. I doubt if he would allow this in his lifetime. However in the B&W period photos, the plates are light shade and may be red. The Plot thickens. After the death of Nawab Sadiq, the next nawab Abbas Khan Abbasi had the Palace cars registered with the Govt. of Punjab as the State had been annexed. These were given new four digit numbers with BR prefix. Most probably at this time the BWP plates appeared on the car. For this the photos would have to be post 1966, as it seems from the condition of the car.

I should like to think that the maternal uncle would have sought verbal or written assent of the ruler to buy a car, as was also required to make a brick house (Pukka house). The Nawabs were very conscious of their position and no competition was allowed. This is unlike the Hyderabad state where the Paigah Nobles and gentry indulged in fancy cars and Palaces.

A rather nice tourer, requiring a lot of money and effort to bring it back to good nick.

Here are pics of Buick carrying same reg number ( albeit hand written) from my 2005 visit to Bahawalpur as guest of Sahibzada Omar Abbasi, grandson of Nawab Sadiq V .
Clearly a different car judging from the fender swage line and radiator. The plot further thickens. I shall research more.
