Thankyou

This is not a custom built

The make is Frankby (British), Bears a regn number and the Pedal Rubber also says Frankby as mentioned on the chasey of the trike

The handlebar grips are Original made of Rose wood

I will try to put up the chaey number incase if it helps, this is possibly late 30's trike

Cheers...
Think posting this pic & comment, will seem like , but as there is no dedicated thread for " Tin Toy" machines & Pedal propelled Scaled machines
& 82 rawath also was asking about these Pedal propelled Cars like the one posted below ( the one posted here is a latest art of state" Poly propylene"
pedal powered cars)
but what actually 82 rawath was meaning a sheet metal made. scale models like 'Lambretta, Herald & some American Guzzler models" which I do had one, when I was a kid, think it was a Lambretta SX type !!
@ Hakkim: Yes ,have seen one Car & a Lamby @ two different places
That Lamby was in pretty good shape & that car resembles some American car( needs some resto(???) I supp)
Have to dig out the pics from my system..will try !!

Hi Counsel

This is definately a BSA Paratrooper however a few things on it look like an aftermarket like The Handle Bar, The front light, The Mudguards, These never came with an Oil Bath Chain Cover (chain guard) and were always in Army Green

I still like it

Mr.PB..if you haven't seen one like that cute scoot..
guess you have seen the one as posted here

Just few days before a place near where I pulled you out from that bus & pushed in to my Indica that afternoon( @ Coimbatore), I saw this TVS Miniped ( 30cc) , converted to a Bicycle by some senior citizen, guess he is not bothered about too negative rake angle fork , for sure it will be bit difficult to handle, think he might have thought other way ( get a kg of Onions rather than a liter of Gas) note that front brake, its not disc, it is efficient Drum.. though !!great stuff!!

Got this pasley Birmingham rickshaw yesterday. It has never been put together and some of the fitments are still in the original packing. It has both the rear wheels with drum brakes. also got an old photo of the rickshaw from the owner.
if some body can put some light it shall be great.

I just saw this post, Superb boss where did you manage a NOS rickshaw? anyways treat it with care.

I would leave is disassembled till I found a suitable place to display it like maybe a museum, is there any number on the frame, look below where the saddle should fit. I am told by a certain source that these were very popular in the East of the country even in Burma and south east asia. Where did you find this example?

A great entry in the Cartier Concourse under the preservation class.
On a serious note, suggest that you get in touch with some graphic co and get that coloured sticker reproduced, atleast in the form of an art work. That should be preserved.
Nice find.

Cheers harit

Thanks. Those pics (especially the scooter) brings back fond childhood memories of the "Traffic Park" in Ernakulam, Kerala which I used to frequent during summer holidays in the late 70's.
On my last trip to Cochin last year, was surprised to see that the park was still in existence.

Just noticed that you were from Coimbatore because that is exactly where I saw (Gandhipuram to be precise) something very similar except that it was a German make. Very nicely maintained too.
Unfortunately, I don't have a brand name nor the pics.
:(
